NOT ABOUT MY FEELINGS

The worst decisions are made when they are made based on feelings.


Proverbs 28:26 

He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool: but whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered.


We as humans were made in the image of God and we therefore carry His attributes, we have feelings, yes God do have feelings from the little we know of Him.


Acts 17:29

"Therefore, since we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Divine Nature is like gold or silver or stone, something shaped by art and man's devising.


So ofcourse we get angry, we are excited, we laugh, we love, we are unhappy sometimes and so on and so forth.


"The issue is not how we feel."


This cannot be over-emphasized.


Many a great men, inventors, achievers, and leaders would never have made it if they had depended on their feelings.


Feelings can be a fraud, feelings decieve 😀


Yes the mood will change, we could get depressed, discouraged, delayed, disappointed but we can not afford to give in to them. We stay strong, we listen to our spirit not our emotions.


Proverbs 20:27

The spirit of a man is the lamp of the LORD, searching all the inner depths of his heart.


That is where the Holy Spirit ministers!


The world and all its swings will continue, yet no matter how much we relate with the world (which we must do) we must not be carried away by mood swings we must stay connected, strong, in the spirit.


We must learn to get up strong even after mistakes. selah


John 17:15-18

"I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one

 "As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world


So every thought must be brought under the authority of Christ, this is why we must study scriptures, stay in prayer and worship:


2 Corinthians 10:5

We destroy every proud obstacle that keeps people from knowing God. We capture their rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ.


The Lord God will strengthen us today, the mood swings will subject to His word's fill. We will be controlled by His Spirit.


Yes our helper is here.


We won't cause evil but good.


He calls us blessed.

As we go through the 11th month of this year of accomplishment, let us be reminded. When it seems to hurt so much, or it all looks quiet and alone, when it appears not to work out.
