CONTINUE BEING THAT GOOD PERSON

Colossians 1:10 

That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

Most people get acquainted with you because of one good nature or the other. Even places of employment take you in because of one good quality or the other they believe you have. As a believer this must be so for Christ instructed us:

Matthew 5:16

"Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

Your good friends came close to you because of those good characteristics you carry. (although some might just do so because of what they can get from you). True believers should attract people of like minds, for that is what scripture teaches:

Psalm 119:63 

I [am] a companion of all [them] that fear thee, and of them that keep thy precepts.

Thus all that we do must be good, for we follow the nature of our Father:

Matthew 5:45,48

In that way, you will be acting as true children of your Father in heaven. For he gives his sunlight to both the evil and the good, and he sends rain on the just and the unjust alike.

But you are to be perfect, even as your Father in heaven is perfect.

Titus 3:8

This is a faithful saying, and these things I want you to affirm constantly, that those who have believed in God should be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable to men.

We must not let the characteristic good qualities of ours fade away due to pressures, challenges or bad reaction of others. No, we are not controlled by those factors but by God's own Spirit. We teach people how to live by our own lifestyle and show them hope in the Heavenly Father.

1Peter 2:15

For this is the will of God, that by doing good you may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men--

Colossians 1:10

that you may have a walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God;

You are to get better by the day, not discouraged or angered but better and better.

2Thessalonians 3:13

But as for you, brethren, do not grow weary in doing good.

May we shine brighter today. No matter what others do, they cannot steal our joy (don't let them!). The enemy can do nothing about it for it is the Lord that has the final say.

You never know when the Lord will appear or when He will call you. Thus we don't have shady lifestyles neither are we double minded we live everyday as a treasured moment. For we are children of light.

Understand this and make full impact in your time, we cherish long life and the Lord has said He will give it to us, we will make full use of it bringing the Lord joy day after day. So help us Good Lord.
