AS TO OTHERS, AS TO YOU?

Matthew 7:12

"Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.

Isn't it ironic?

When you face difficult situations and challenges, you expect people/friends to stand with you, you pray and expect miracles .

Yet, when you see others face their own challenges, you start imagining what they must have done wrong or maybe they annoyed God or did one evil or the other etc.

You soon forget this happens to all.

The same thing goes for prosperity when the Lord opens a door for us and we have abundance of wealth or a breakthrough we expect others to rejoice with us, more so, some would even find it hard to give to others.

What is our reaction when someone else gets their breakthrough, do we get suddenly suspiscious without reason. Do we expect the person to reach out to us.

It is better to stay on the side of being an encourager than to seat as a judge or prosecutor.

Jesus said,

Matthew 7:2

"For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the same measure you use, it will be measured back to you.

Definitely we should caution one another when the need arises, yet it should be of love not for want of self satisfaction or a feeling of superiority.

Do not give what you know you cannot receive.

You shout on others, do you like being shouted on?

You lie to others, do you like being lied to?

It should be an easy flow to get what one is or wants to receive.

I pray for others, others pray for me.

I care for others, others care for me.

I show love to others, others show love to me.

It goes on and on.

We who are believers carry God's Spirit inside of us not to wrath but to show forth His glory for the whole world to see God in us.

2Corinthians 2:15

For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing.

2Corinthians 2:14

Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.

That is why we are not bound by law, but we make the law a reality. We are the fulfilment of the law in Christ Jesus. We are the evidence of God.

2Corinthians 5:18

Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation,

We can't be less!

Do have an awesome time with other believers today.

He calls us blessed.

Love
