USE THE SITUATION

Acts 28:14-16

There we found some believers, who invited us to spend a week with them. And so we came to Rome.

The brothers and sisters in Rome had heard we were coming, and they came to meet us at the Forum on the Appian Way. Others joined us at The Three Taverns. When Paul saw them, he was encouraged and thanked God.

When we arrived in Rome, Paul was permitted to have his own private lodging, though he was guarded by a soldier.

They finally arrived at Rome, notwithstanding the troubles on the way. Paul was still a prisoner, but he had his own lodging and a soldier at his guard. He was under arrest yet he was working. He was using the situation.

Remember, your persecution as a believer is not pointless, the Lord will yet use it for good:

Romans 8:28

And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.

It was during these periods he wrote the great letters we have today as scriptures. What do we do with our trouble times? Do we just cry, go here and there seeking for solution or looking for something that was never lost? Don't cry long brethren, get up and Work!

We are humans we indeed worry when things don't go the way we expect. Though sometimes because we are too conscious of the flesh and the voice or opinion of people, we do not see the hand of God in that situation. Someone said yesterday during a service, if what you are going through is not greater than what Jesus went through to pay our price of redemption, then rejoice for God is working something great out of it.

Yes, that is the lesson, Christ went through inhuman suffering(s), pain and death, at that time all were filled with tears but after the brief seeming dark period, He resurrected and it was rejoicing everywhere because victory had come.

The battle would not be sweet but the victory definitely is. Selah

This is why I am troubled by what so called teachers of the gospel spew out to the supposed sheep. Another service yesterday, I heard an elderly, renown minister of a very large church(if not the largest) in the country prophesying to the tens of thousands listening to him "when you need to go out, you will have escorts of SUVs as convey . . ." and they all shouted, AMEN, including my mum listening via TV. He was referencing to the time when the president visited his church and came with convoy of many!

Hello, I always say this, when you tell the flock what the Lord did not promise them, you get them unnecessary agitated, you also provoke them to get distracted from real ministry work to go searching for what the Lord did not send them to search. This is why we have so many supposed believers but terrible characters.

You leave the supposed "God's presence", and all that is your mind is money, money, and money, earthly wealth. Never forget that Christ compared God to only one thing:

Matthew 6:24

“No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.

We are now at the last chapter of the book of Acts, what have you learnt? Can you compare the church at the insept and what we have today? Are we on the right part or has the supposed elect derailed?

See there was a dark period when the powers that be, persecuted believers then they took the faith and coined out a Religion (Religion is man-made), yet the Heavenly Father still used it for His glory. Liberation came, the hidden word was released and from recent times till today all have the word of God freely in almost all parts of the world. We have no excuse to allow people heap incorrect teachings, prophesies or religion to us. The word of God is available.

Let us learn from the record of the Life of the apostles, let us be serious about eternal things. See earthly prosperity is for all, saved or unsaved.

Matthew 5:45

In that way, you will be acting as true children of your Father in heaven. For he gives his sunlight to both the evil and the good, and he sends rain on the just and the unjust alike.

Listen you did not come to Christ to get earthly riches or wealth, you came to be reunited to the Father, to have eternal life and have a home with Him for all eternity. The world's good are little for Him to give you. Don't spend your whole life chasing after what you have already, live the life, and the life is Christ.

John 14:6

Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.

You hear some say, go with what works, I say, go with what God wants. Selah

May every situation and stage of our lives bring glory to God. He has blessed us, no one can curse us. No one will put us in bondage again. Glory to God.

He calls us blessed.

Love
