RELIGIOUS CONFUSION

Acts 23:7-9

This divided the council—the Pharisees against the Sadducees— for the Sadducees say there is no resurrection or angels or spirits, but the Pharisees believe in all of these.

So there was a great uproar. Some of the teachers of religious law who were Pharisees jumped up and began to argue forcefully. “We see nothing wrong with him,” they shouted. “Perhaps a spirit or an angel spoke to him.”

When you look at what Paul faced from the evil instigation of some Jews in his tour of Asia and final return to Jerusalem, you notice that most of the mob individuals had no clue what Paul's offence was?

Acts 21:33-34

Then the commander arrested him and ordered him bound with two chains. He asked the crowd who he was and what he had done.

Some shouted one thing and some another. Since he couldn’t find out the truth in all the uproar and confusion, he ordered that Paul be taken to the fortress.

Remember that it was the same when Christ was to be crucified:

John 19:4

Pilate went outside again and said to the people, “I am going to bring him out to you now, but understand clearly that I find him not guilty.”

Mark 15:12-15

Pilate asked them, “Then what should I do with this man you call the king of the Jews?”

They shouted back, “Crucify him!”

“Why?” Pilate demanded. “What crime has he committed?”But the mob roared even louder, “Crucify him!”

So to pacify the crowd, Pilate released Barabbas to them. He ordered Jesus flogged with a lead-tipped whip, then turned him over to the Roman soldiers to be crucified.

It just did not make sense to Pilate, what exactly has the man done, they just couldn't state any case, all they knew was that He called Himself the Son of God. It wasn't a problem when He healed their sick, raised their dead or fed them in their thousands. No.

The Jewish leaders seemed to control the people and wave them in whatever direction they could. Do you see same today? Religious wise men (their fathers where the originators of the religion, for they paint and tush it up to what looks acceptable to you today), however the Heavenly Father in His Son Jesus the Christ, calls every man individually to Himself.

Revelation 3:20

“Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends.

Anyone!

Do you wonder why some of the Jewish leaders who believed came to Jesus by night? They were afraid of the other religious leaders, that they will not cast them out.

"Many have not acceptable Christ today to reunite with the Heavenly Father because of fear of religious leaders even in their homes"

Luke 9:26

If anyone is ashamed of me and my message, the Son of Man will be ashamed of that person when he returns in his glory and in the glory of the Father and the holy angels.

Not what Buddhism, Islam, Christianity, philosophy, science or whatever religion tells you, but what Christ Himself says, He speaks for Himself, you cannot be outside Him and know what He says.

John 14:17-19

He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world cannot receive him, because it isn’t looking for him and doesn’t recognize him. But you know him, because he lives with you now and later will be in you.

No, I will not abandon you as orphans—I will come to you.

Soon the world will no longer see me, but you will see me. Since I live, you also will live.

We remember at these season the price Christ paid, for the salvation of ALL. The bondage of any human is not believing that He rose and that He is God Himself for He dwells in the Father.

Hello, no man, no matter the title, paid that price. Christ did and Him should we all obey.

I always say "Christ brought us out of bondage, No one should put us in bondage again!

The problem of man has always been to leave the essential and focus so much attention on the irrelevant. We live the spiritual relationship and fellowship with the Heavenly Father, which we can only have in His Word, Jesus the Christ, and face activities and pacifs in religion. Hmm. May wisdom fall on all those called to be saved.
