YOU CAN'T CHANGE THE GLORY

Acts 7:55-56

But Stephen, full of the Holy Spirit, gazed steadily into heaven and saw the glory of God, and he saw Jesus standing in the place of honor at God’s right hand.

And he told them, “Look, I see the heavens opened and the Son of Man standing in the place of honor at God’s right hand!”

Let us remind ourselves:

Man was drowning in sin, death was the sentence, very few found favour with the Father, yet in all their goodness they were still in bondage of sin and death. The Lord searched for a solution. Why? He loved man He created so much (powers that be just can't understand this). He asked His Word, who was from His very bosom, that was with Him even before creation, the one who people of old saw and said they saw the Father, to pay the price for the redemption of man.

John 3:16-17

“For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.

God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.

Romans 5:8

But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.

In paying the price Yeshua Hanaschiach, Jesus the Christ, also returned to His glory, by the side of the Heavenly Father. 

David prophesied this many years before Christ was revealed:

Psalms 110:1

The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit in the place of honor at my right hand until I humble your enemies, making them a footstool under your feet.”

Hebrews 12:2

We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne.

Matthew 26:63-64

But Jesus remained silent. Then the high priest said to him, “I demand in the name of the living God—tell us if you are the Messiah, the Son of God.”

Jesus replied, “You have said it. And in the future you will see the Son of Man seated in the place of power at God’s right hand and coming on the clouds of heaven.”

1 Peter 3:22

Now Christ has gone to heaven. He is seated in the place of honor next to God, and all the angels and authorities and powers accept his authority.

And he told them, “Look, I see the heavens opened and the Son of Man standing in the place of honor at God’s right hand!”

The point is no matter what any church, religion, sect or authority says, the truth is that no other person can take His place or share His glory. Listen no one ever knew the Father, for it was the Son that revealed Him:

John 1:18

No one has ever seen God. But the unique One, who is himself God, is near to the Father’s heart. He has revealed God to us.

So, no matter what a church, denomination, religion or sect says, they cannot change this truth. No matter how they twist it to make their religion or believe relevant, they cannot change the truth.

Religions will keep going round in circles but the truth remains:

Colossians 2:8-9

Don’t let anyone capture you with empty philosophies and high-sounding nonsense that come from human thinking and from the spiritual powers of this world, rather than from Christ.

For in Christ lives all the fullness of God in a human body.

They heard it from Stephen, they covered their ears, ran at him then killed him. THE TRUTH HAS NOT CHANGED.

See, don't get distracted with prophets, angels, people even saints dead or alive, your focus should be on Christ Jesus, no one can plead for you, no dead person can pray for you. Don't wait till you leave this world to know that Christ is all in all.

Acts 4:12

There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.”
