LORD OF ALL

Acts 10:34-36

Then Peter replied, “I see very clearly that God shows no favoritism.

In every nation he accepts those who fear him and do what is right.

This is the message of Good News for the people of Israel—that there is peace with God through Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all.

Acts 10:44-45

Even as Peter was saying these things, the Holy Spirit fell upon all who were listening to the message.

The Jewish believers who came with Peter were amazed that the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out on the Gentiles, too.

If you have been following me through the book of the Acts of the Apostles, you would have been instructed or reminded that the coming of God's Word, His Son, Yeshua Hamaschiach that is Jesus the Christ was for the whole world, not for the Jews or a particular sect but for all of humanity.

The encounter with Cornelius buttress this truth further, from the visit of the angel, vision of the unclean foods finally to the release of the Holy Spirit:

Acts 10:44-45,47

Even as Peter was saying these things, the Holy Spirit fell upon all who were listening to the message.

The Jewish believers who came with Peter were amazed that the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out on the Gentiles, too.

“Can anyone object to their being baptized, now that they have received the Holy Spirit just as we did?”

See what Peter said:

Acts 10:34-35

Then Peter opened [his] mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:

But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.

Was this a new one, or did the prophets prophesy about it? Of course they did, Peter quoted it at the day of Pentecost when the Holy Spirit was first released with manifestation as they gathered:

Acts 2:14

But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all [ye] that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:

But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;

And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

The problem of the Jewish leaders of those times was that most of them did not have a sincere heart to the Lord, thus they could not interpret scriptures properly. Self and carnal consciousness will not allow one to behold wonderous things out of God's word.

Psalm 119:18

Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.

Jesus told them:

John 5:39

“You search the Scriptures because you think they give you eternal life. But the Scriptures point to me!

Thus they did not see that He was God of all flesh, and His salvation plan was for every being not just the Jews, they were the channel, the starting point.

Acts 1:8

But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

It is to all, He is Lord of ALL.

Prophet Hanani told King Asa:

2 Chronicles 16:9a

The eyes of the Lord search the whole earth in order to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him.”

Prophet Zechariah also said:

Zechariah 4:10b

they [are] the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth.

Isaiah prophesied:

Isaiah 45:22

Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I [am] God, and [there is] none else.

So the Heavenly Father's reaching out is to all, no one is excluded as long as they are human:

Titus 2:11-13

For the grace of God has been revealed, bringing salvation to all people.

And we are instructed to turn from godless living and sinful pleasures. We should live in this evil world with wisdom, righteousness, and devotion to God,

while we look forward with hope to that wonderful day when the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, will be revealed.

So, He is Lord of All and His salvation is for All. His salvation is only in Christ Jesus, have you received Him? Are you telling others about Him?

Revelation 3:20

Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

Thank You Dear Father for your love for the humans You created. We take full advantage. You are Lord of all. You are Lord of Me.

Glory.

He calls us blessed.

Love
