WE NEED ONE ANOTHER

Hebrews 10:24-25

Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works.

And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.

We have one High Priest, Jesus the Christ who gave us liberty and inheritance with the Heavenly Father. By His sacrifice He made everyone of us who believe sons:

John 1:12-13

But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God.

They are reborn—not with a physical birth resulting from human passion or plan, but a birth that comes from God.

Knowing this, what then is expected of us as believers:

We are to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. We gather in this same spirit. The book of Hebrews emphasized this that it is needed especially as the time of the end is near.

The verse further went to explain to us that sinning willfully has no redemption, thus we gather to edify one another.

We must always remember what our High Priest has done for us, so that we do not think ourselves less than what we are and then submit to sin:

Hebrews 10:21-22

And since we have a great High Priest who rules over God’s house, let us go right into the presence of God with sincere hearts fully trusting him. For our guilty consciences have been sprinkled with Christ’s blood to make us clean, and our bodies have been washed with pure water.

Sincerity of heart is key, always having in our mind that the Lord looks at the heart. (Help us Lord)

We hold tightly to our faith, we are not easily moved:

Hebrews 10:23

Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise.

For we know that without faith we cannot please the Heavenly Father.

So, there is no room for apostasy, for when you leave the truth which is the light, what is the alternative? Darkness or a lie cannot be a good alternative? NO. For there is no longer redemption for those who abandon faith.

Hebrews 10:26-29

Dear friends, if we deliberately continue sinning after we have received knowledge of the truth, there is no longer any sacrifice that will cover these sins.

There is only the terrible expectation of God’s judgment and the raging fire that will consume his enemies.

For anyone who refused to obey the law of Moses was put to death without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses.

Just think how much worse the punishment will be for those who have trampled on the Son of God, and have treated the blood of the covenant, which made us holy, as if it were common and unholy, and have insulted and disdained the Holy Spirit who brings God’s mercy to us.

For God is love, God is kind, merciful and gracious. He is still the righteous judge, and remember all power belongs to Him. It is a terrible thing to fall to His judgment:

Hebrews 10:31

It is a terrible thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

So we need one another, we help one another, for we are headed to an inheritance, a glory of the Father forever. We cannot take it for granted. We must endure and remain faithful.

Hebrews 10:35-37

So do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord. Remember the great reward it brings you!

Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised.

“For in just a little while, the Coming One will come and not delay.

We help one another to stay in faith.

1 Thessalonians 5:10-11

Christ died for us so that, whether we are dead or alive when he returns, we can live with him forever.

So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing.

Never be counted among the goats, be that sheep, whether people take advantage of you or not, focus on whom you do all things for, the Heavenly Father. We are sometimes so quick to think that another wants to take advantage of us that we forget to love.

Remember that it is the enemy that is the architect of discord among brethren, that human is just the tool.

Let us know whom we have believed. We are not of those who turn back, we are the faithful ones, we will be saved.

Hebrews 10:39

But we are not like those who turn away from God to their own destruction. We are the faithful ones, whose souls will be saved.

So help us Good Lord.

He calls us blessed.

Love
