THEY CAN'T HURT US

Isaiah 54:14 

In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee.

We are not aware of many battles fought for our sake, we really don't know the things that we come across, or that come across us day after day. We are so busy worrying about little things that we are not conscious of the real battles. 

If the Lord opens our eyes to see the spiritual activities around us, most of us will let go of that remote set, that social outing, that sleep and stand up to pray. 

People wondered why those prophets of old were so valiant, how they could separate themselves from the flesh. The Lord had allowed them to see things thus they did not operate on the frequency of ordinary men. 

2 Kings 6:15-17

When the servant of the man of God got up early the next morning and went outside, there were troops, horses, and chariots everywhere. “Oh, sir, what will we do now?” the young man cried to Elisha.

“Don’t be afraid!” Elisha told him. “For there are more on our side than on theirs!”

Then Elisha prayed, “O Lord, open his eyes and let him see!” The Lord opened the young man’s eyes, and when he looked up, he saw that the hillside around Elisha was filled with horses and chariots of fire.

In the verses above we see Elisha threatened by the Syrian army, his servant naturally was scared but Elisha was not, why, he had information that the servant didn't have, his eyes were open to see. 

If our eyes were opened to see spiritual activities out there, even within our neighborhood, some of us would not step out. 

However the Lord delivers us from them all. 

See the enemy may "be still" around you, when he sees you are not a threat, he is content with you being a stagnant believer, well that is what he desires, to take your heart away from the Lord, he knows that if you are NOT for the Lord you are against the Lord, thus you stay in his camp. 

Matthew 12:30

“Anyone who isn’t with me opposes me, and anyone who isn’t working with me is actually working against me.

If you are His, there is a promise:

Isaiah 54:14&17

No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue [that] shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This [is] the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness [is] of me, saith the LORD.

This is an heritage of God's own, He says they can't hurt us, we are covered, glory to God. 

So get up, pray, worship, study the word, then go out there represent the Heavenly Father and conquer. The Lord got us covered. Glory to His Holy name. 

He calls us blessed.
