REMAIN FAITHFUL

Hebrews 6:10-11

For God is not unjust. He will not forget how hard you have worked for him and how you have shown your love to him by caring for other believers, as you still do.

Our great desire is that you will keep on loving others as long as life lasts, in order to make certain that what you hope for will come true.

Everyone experiences the wait, and it is in this period that we prove who we say we are. We also get to work in the faith we have received and then expect a reward:

2 Timothy 4:8

And now the prize awaits me—the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on the day of his return. And the prize is not just for me but for all who eagerly look forward to his appearing.

Are we expecting Him?

If we are then we must remain faithful, for truly we could get carried away with all the events in this world and forget who and of whom we really are.

1 Peter 1:23

Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

We are born of incorruptible seed and we are preserved by the Heavenly Father, we must never forget this. We must NOT get carried away.

For you can go out of the cover of the Almighty Father, God forbid:

This is extremely dangerous for those who have experienced God’s Mighty power and have been privileged to partake in the display of this power. For to whom much is given, much is expected:

Hebrews 6:4-6

For it is impossible to bring back to repentance those who were once enlightened—those who have experienced the good things of heaven and shared in the Holy Spirit, who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the power of the age to come—and who then turn away from God. It is impossible to bring such people back to repentance; by rejecting the Son of God, they themselves are nailing him to the cross once again and holding him up to public shame.

For many cry that they want to experience more of God's power, they want to partake in the display of God’s heavenly powers. I always counsel, that we should be patient and allow God take us into maturity, then we gradually mature into the realm of His power, that we would not err.

2 Corinthians 12:7

even though I have received such wonderful revelations from God. So to keep me from becoming proud, I was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger from Satan to torment me and keep me from becoming proud.

Kathryn Kuhlman once said that we only see the glamour the display of God's power on stage, but we have no clue the sacrifice that has been done.

Hello, the closer you get to the Heavenly Father, the farther away you are from the pleasures of the world. You grasp the relevant over the irrelevant.

This is why I am hard on churches/denominations/sects in Christ Jesus. How do we dwell so much on the irrelevant and leave the relevant unattended to.

Colossians 3:1-4

Since you have been raised to new life with Christ, set your sights on the realities of heaven, where Christ sits in the place of honor at God’s right hand.

Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth.

For you died to this life, and your real life is hidden with Christ in God.

And when Christ, who is your life, is revealed to the whole world, you will share in all his glory.

How many are still here?

Do we know the meaning of the 91st Psalm?

Psalms 91:1-2,15-16

Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.

This I declare about the Lord:

He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him.

When they call on me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble.  I will rescue and honor them.

I will reward them with a long life and give them my salvation.”

We do NOT only remember the Lord when we face troubles or challenges. WE DWELL IN HIS PRESENCE.

Remember 1John, the evidence of our love for Him is in our obedience and love for others.

We must remain faithful:

Hebrews 6:11-12

Our great desire is that you will keep on loving others as long as life lasts, in order to make certain that what you hope for will come true.

Then you will not become spiritually dull and indifferent. Instead, you will follow the example of those who are going to inherit God’s promises because of their faith and endurance.

We are not of those who draw back. We remain faithful.

Help us Good Lord.

He calls us blessed.

Love
