PROSPER

Isaiah 54:2-3

“Enlarge your house; build an addition. Spread out your home, and spare no expense!

For you will soon be bursting at the seams. 

Your descendants will occupy other nations and resettle the ruined cities.

Let's begin with this truth, God created man prosperous. There was no intention of man suffering, his major work was leadership. 

Genesis 1:26,31

Then God said, “Let us make human beings in our image, to be like us. They will reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, the livestock, all the wild animals on the earth, and the small animals that scurry along the ground.”

Then God looked over all he had made, and he saw that it was very good!And evening passed and morning came, marking the sixth day.

Suffering began when man decided to sin against God or do we say when man heed the suggestion of the enemy and thus disobeyed God. 

So the Heavenly Father does not want us to suffer, however suffering exists, what does He do, He brings us into recovery. This is what the opening verses are talking about. It is not just to the children of Israel but to all who believe and come to Him through His Son Yeshua Hamaschiach, Jesus the Christ. For every of the prophesy of old were not limited to the people of old, for most of them were telling of things to come.

Isaiah 40:5,28,31

Then the glory of the lord will be revealed, and all people will see it together. The Lord has spoken!”

Have you never heard? Have you never understood? 

The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth. 

He never grows weak or weary. No one can measure the depths of his understanding.

But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. 

They will run and not grow weary. 

They will walk and not faint.

See even before Christ was revealed to the earth, the Heavenly Father reigned in the affairs of men, even when they served idols. 

Nebuchadnezzar who was not a Jew was forced to confess:

Daniel 4:17

For this has been decreed by the messengers; it is commanded by the holy ones, so that everyone may know that the Most High rules over the kingdoms of the world. 

He gives them to anyone he chooses— even to the lowliest of people.”

So my writings may seem as if I am against christians prospering, NEVER, however the problem comes when many make this error - 

1 Timothy 6:10

For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. And some people, craving money, have wandered from the true faith and pierced themselves with many sorrows.

For we can give nothing in exchange for our soul. Prosperity goes beyond money. Your soul must first prosper, yes your spirit must prosper then your body.

Then ask yourself what is the essence of your prospering? (discussion for another day) 

Listen to John's expectation:

3John 1:2 

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

What are we prospering if our soul does not prosper? 

That is why the wise man said:

Proverbs 10:22

The blessing of the Lord makes a person rich, and he adds no sorrow with it.

We will all prosper and it will be of the Lord, we will be of good health, and yes, our soul prospers.  Glory to the Heavenly Father. 

He calls us blessed.
