GROW

Hebrews 5:11-13

There is much more we would like to say about this, but it is difficult to explain, especially since you are spiritually dull and don’t seem to listen.

You have been believers so long now that you ought to be teaching others. Instead, you need someone to teach you again the basic things about God’s word. You are like babies who need milk and cannot eat solid food.

For someone who lives on milk is still an infant and doesn’t know how to do what is right.

Every parent's desire is to see their children grow into maturity. They feed them till they are able to feed themselves. They instruct them till they are able to instruct themselves. They carry them till they are able to carry themselves. Parents become worried when the child remains a baby for too long. 

The same applies to the spiritual:

Hebrews 6:1-3

So let us stop going over the basic teachings about Christ again and again. Let us go on instead and become mature in our understanding. Surely we don’t need to start again with the fundamental importance of repenting from evil deeds and placing our faith in God.

You don’t need further instruction about baptisms, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment.

And so, God willing, we will move forward to further understanding.

We can't waste our time arguing over what is sin and what is not sin. Sin cannot become righteousness because the world has accepted it or because we have civilization. No

Christ is the only way to the Father, that cannot change because some people refused to believe or because some religion(s) sprung up. Neither can it change because some twist the gospel and the powers that be tried to mix ancient traditions to scriptures. No

Galatians 1:6-10

I am shocked that you are turning away so soon from God, who called you to himself through the loving mercy of Christ. You are following a different way that pretends to be the Good News

but is not the Good News at all. You are being fooled by those who deliberately twist the truth concerning Christ.

Let God’s curse fall on anyone, including us or even an angel from heaven, who preaches a different kind of Good News than the one we preached to you.

I say again what we have said before: If anyone preaches any other Good News than the one you welcomed, let that person be cursed.

Obviously, I’m not trying to win the approval of people, but of God. If pleasing people were my goal, I would not be Christ’s servant.

Growth here has to do with maturity, our spirit is fed that we are able to stand strong NOT easily swayed by any form of doctrine BUT staying with the sure word of God. 

1 Corinthians 14:33 

For God is not [the author] of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

Ephesians 4:14

Then we will no longer be immature like children. We won’t be tossed and blown about by every wind of new teaching. We will not be influenced when people try to trick us with lies so clever they sound like the truth.

This is the essence of the church, the essence of fellowship. The main reason why we gather. If your gathering and fellowship is not achieving this, then you need to find your salvation. Selah

This is why the three major things in gathering is:

* Study of the Word

* Prayer

* Worship

Acts 2:42,46

All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper), and to prayer.

They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord’s Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity—

Every other thing can be categorized as incidental. 

The flaw of many gatherings today, is putting the minor above the major. The energy, zeal, and money pumped into the extrinsic while the intrinsic is left unattended to. Then we wonder why believers are not growing, why there is no power and why it seems as if God is not with us. 

THE CHURCH HAS TO WAKE UP. 

It is NOT all about MONEY, MONEY and MONEY. It is about souls. Better to have a blessed fund from saved souls than billions from souls that are not insured for eternity. The lies must stop!!!

Yes money is needed in the church but it is not the most important thing. We must not get it twisted:

Luke 11:42

“What sorrow awaits you Pharisees! For you are careful to tithe even the tiniest income from your herb gardens, but you ignore justice and the love of God. You should tithe, yes, but do not neglect the more important things.

Hello, if the church is not drawing you closer to the Heavenly Father then why is she there in the first place. See, no one can buy their salvation. There is no salvation for the dead and no human(no matter their title, dead or alive, angel or saint, prophet or clergy) can give you eternal life. 

Acts 4:12

There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.”

2 Peter 3:18

Rather, you must grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.All glory to him, both now and forever! Amen.

Help us Good Lord. Revive your church O Lord.
