THANK YOU LORD

Psalm 105:1&2

O give thanks unto the LORD; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people.

Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him: talk ye of all his wondrous works.

As we conclude another year, it is wise to look back at what the Lord has done and give Him thanks, firstly of course that we are among the living. We must remember that any other thing matters only after we have life.

The year came as many others did, some with full joy, some mourned a lost one, some had high hopes of great things ahead, many looked for a new thing. Well, the year had its own package and met every single human with surprise, for our daily lifestyle was altered.

No matter the shocker the year brought, the Lord is yet in control and He is the master of new things:

Isaiah 43:18-19

“But forget all that— it is nothing compared to what I am going to do.

For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it?

I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.

Firstly it will look as if all hell is let loose but He steps in and the storms quieten. Glory to God.

Psalms 107:29-31

He calmed the storm to a whisper and stilled the waves.

What a blessing was that stillness as he brought them safely into harbor!

Let them praise the Lord for his great love and for the wonderful things he has done for them.

We cannot say we are merely lucky, NO, for great people have left the scene, yet He kept us. For we cannot claim that we are better than those who have left.

So, let this day be a day of Thanksgiving for:

Ecclesiastes 7:8a

Finishing is better than starting.

Psalms 117:1-2

Praise the Lord, all you nations.

Praise him, all you people of the earth.

For his unfailing love for us is powerful; the Lord's faithfulness endures forever.

Praise the lord!

No matter what you are going through. Give Him praise, for He has kept you alive because He has yet great things to do in you, through you and with you.

Praise the Lord.

He calls us blessed.

Love
