BEFORE YOU PASS JUDGMENT
Matthew 21:41,43,45
The religious leaders replied, “He will put the wicked men to a horrible death and lease the vineyard to others who will give him his share of the crop after each harvest.”
I tell you, the Kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a nation that will produce the proper fruit.
When the leading priests and Pharisees heard this parable, they realized he was telling the story against them—they were the wicked farmers.
If we look at things from the proper perspective we would live blameless lives. For it is so easy to pass judgment on others but we find it difficult to correct our own ways.
Do you talk so much on what people do wrong, their faults and weaknesses? Do you know that, that talk is one fault of yours among many other faults?
Matthew 7:2
For you will be treated as you treat others. The standard you use in judging is the standard by which you will be judged.
Remember, when God sent Nathan to tell king David his sin against Uriah, which was taking his wife and finally causing his death, he came with a parable. David not understanding the parable decreed his own death for the evil he had done. 2 Samuel 11, 12:1-23.
In the same way the Lord told the religious servants a parable about the wicked farmers, they quickly condemned them and passed judgment of destruction, not knowing that they were actually the wicked farmers.
That person, people, leaders, subordinate, spouse, child(s) you are complaining about, the one you pass judgment on, are you sure you are not also culpable?
Romans 2:1,3
You may think you can condemn such people, but you are just as bad, and you have no excuse! When you say they are wicked and should be punished, you are condemning yourself, for you who judge others do these very same things.
Since you judge others for doing these things, why do you think you can avoid God’s judgment when you do the same things?
Look at our leaders today the either pass laws or implement laws against offenders but they are even more guilty!
You want to jail a thief while you have stolen or looted a bigger amount. You thus deserve a more severe punishment.
Hello religious leaders you sanction or punish members for not keeping a house rule but you do not keep God's laws. Punish yourself first. Selah
If we do the self check we will reduce being the punisher and become a good example.
How beneficial is our good examples to our children over the rod. For the rod will instill fear and discipline. Much beneficial also is that good example which would build good character.
1 Timothy 4:12
Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity.
Philippians 2:15-16
so that no one can criticize you. Live clean, innocent lives as children of God, shining like bright lights in a world full of crooked and perverse people.
Hold firmly to the word of life; then, on the day of Christ’s return, I will be proud that I did not run the race in vain and that my work was not useless.
Help us Good Lord.
He calls us blessed.
