THE SEPARATION

Matthew 13:40-42

“Just as the weeds are sorted out and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of the world.

The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will remove from his Kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil.

And the angels will throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

This is the part of scriptures that is rarely talked about in these times. For we are in a generation of positive talk but no positive thoughts or action. It cannot correlate!

There will be a separation. Listen to Christ giving three parables in a roll:

Matthew 13:40,45-49

“Just as the weeds are sorted out and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of the world.

“Again, the Kingdom of Heaven is like a merchant on the lookout for choice pearls.

When he discovered a pearl of great value, he sold everything he owned and bought it!

“Again, the Kingdom of Heaven is like a fishing net that was thrown into the water and caught fish of every kind.

When the net was full, they dragged it up onto the shore, sat down, and sorted the good fish into crates, but threw the bad ones away.

That is the way it will be at the end of the world. The angels will come and separate the wicked people from the righteous,

Yes, there will be a separation and obviously it will begin from the house of the Lord. There is a difference between the separation of the general good and evil and the sieving of those that call on the Lord. For not all who call Him "Lord, Lord" are His!

Now does it mean that the believer will face judgment like the heathen. NO. The loss of the works of the believer does not outrightly result to the loss of the soul:

1 Corinthians 3:11-15

For no one can lay any foundation other than the one we already have—Jesus Christ.

Anyone who builds on that foundation may use a variety of materials—gold, silver, jewels, wood, hay, or straw.

But on the judgment day, fire will reveal what kind of work each builder has done. The fire will show if a person’s work has any value.

If the work survives, that builder will receive a reward.

But if the work is burned up, the builder will suffer great loss. The builder will be saved, but like someone barely escaping through a wall of flames.

However how will it end for those who call the name of the Lord but refuse to depart from iniquity. . . read through the parables again, there are many other parables Christ told about these, read and get understanding...

Those who outrightly reject Christ have no hope at all.

However for we who have believed, we will come before the "bema" of Christ to receive the things we have done in our body. This is different from the great white throne judgment.

The summary is that we should remain on the right side of Christ. Don't juggle with your most priced jewel, "which you sold all you had to buy".

Matthew 13:44-46

“The Kingdom of Heaven is like a treasure that a man discovered hidden in a field. In his excitement, he hid it again and sold everything he owned to get enough money to buy the field.

“Again, the Kingdom of Heaven is like a merchant on the lookout for choice pearls.

When he discovered a pearl of great value, he sold everything he owned and bought it!

A famous preacher told the story of a man who was a great juggler, he could juggle anything and they would eventually balance on his hands. One day he saw a very priced jewel stone, he loved it so much so he sold everything he had and bought it. On his journey on a ship, people saw him and identified him as the greatest juggler, he did a lot of display for them, he was well applauded. He was yet not satisfied he showed them the jewel stone he bought and told them that it worth all he had. He started to juggle it in front of everyone, some clapped others told him to stop. He was not moved he knew he was a perfect juggler.

Then suddenly the ship hit an iceberg and he lost his balance and down went his priced jewel into the sea.

There are things we do not juggle with, yes, not our salvation.

We will not miss it, we are acceptable. Glory to God.

He calls us blessed.
