BEWARE OF FALSE TEACHINGS

Matthew 16:12

Then at last they understood that he wasn’t speaking about the yeast in bread, but about the deceptive teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees.

Jesus compared the leavening of yeast to the false teachings of the religious leaders of that time. 

What we should understand is that false teachings could be as a result of:

* ignorance

* callousness 

* direct ploy of the enemy 

For many without the right foundation, training, study and the power of God's Spirit have handled the message. What is the result. The truth is tampered with. 

2 Timothy 2:15

Work hard so you can present yourself to God and receive his approval. Be a good worker, one who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly explains the word of truth.

For we must remember that the scriptures record that:

Hosea 4:6

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

You must know the Heavenly Father to teach about Him. 

You cannot properly teach about the Heavenly Father except you know Him. Hey listen, the only true revelation of the Heavenly Father is through His Word and Christ Jesus is the Word. 

John 1:1-4

In the beginning the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God.

He existed in the beginning with God.

God created everything through him, and nothing was created except through him.

The Word gave life to everything that was created, and his life brought light to everyone.

I cannot teach about the Heavenly Father away from His Word. Surely I cannot teach about the Heavenly Father away from His Spirit. For the very nature of the Father is the summary of His Word, for we remember that the nature of His Spirit is LOVE. 

1 John 4:7-8

Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God.

But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love.

We very well need to beware of false teachings and doctrines. We have the scriptures, read them, meditate on them. For we all have access to the Heavenly Father in Christ Jesus. Why must we remain in the dark? 

Luke 10:22

“My Father has entrusted everything to me. No one truly knows the Son except the Father, and no one truly knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.”

Titus 2:11-13

For the grace of God has been revealed, bringing salvation to all people.

And we are instructed to turn from godless living and sinful pleasures. We should live in this evil world with wisdom, righteousness, and devotion to God,

while we look forward with hope to that wonderful day when the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, will be revealed.

Thank you Heavenly Father for your truth.
