OUTSIDE IS THE PLACE OF UNBELIEF
Matthew 9:28-29
They went right into the house where he was staying, and Jesus asked them, “Do you believe I can make you see?”“Yes, Lord,” they told him, “we do.”
Then he touched their eyes and said, “Because of your faith, it will happen.”
The criteria for salvation is belief, yes, those who received miracles from Christ were generally those who believed, no matter who they were, young, old, rich, poor, foreigner or native. The key factor was believe. Even the leaders who received miracles had to belief, for if they did not believe, they would not have sought His help.
Yet some refused to believe, instead they stayed in envy and preferred to criticise and seek to destroy Him.
Matthew 9:32-33
When they left, a demon-possessed man who couldn’t speak was brought to Jesus.
So Jesus cast out the demon, and then the man began to speak. The crowds were amazed. “Nothing like this has ever happened in Israel!” they exclaimed.
This was the response of the Pharisees:
Matthew 9:34
But the Pharisees said, “He can cast out demons because he is empowered by the prince of demons.”
Now let us get this clear, the people who received these healings were with them, they were not strangers, they lived among the people and were known for their predicament. So there was no reason to doubt their healing.
It is different from the atrocities we see today, where someone hires people to act out their healing, yes, people we never knew to be sick, handicapped or possessed and later on we do not even see them to verify the healing or deliverance(!!!) they received.
These people healed and delivered lived among the people, the evidence was very clear.
Thus we see that those who opposed Christ just did it out of envy and hatred.
These antagonist remain outside for without faith it is impossible to please God.
John 3:18
“There is no judgment against anyone who believes in him. But anyone who does not believe in him has already been judged for not believing in God’s one and only Son.
So everyone decides where they belong inside or outside. Our belief is in the Lord Jesus Christ and not on any man, group or organization we must understand that man is fallible but the Heavenly Father is not.
He will continue to guide sincere hearts aright. We will not be outside, but were He is, there shall will be also. Amen.
Revelation 22:14-15
Blessed are those who wash their robes. They will be permitted to enter through the gates of the city and eat the fruit from the tree of life.
Outside the city are the dogs—the sorcerers, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idol worshipers, and all who love to live a lie.
Revelation 21:8
“But cowards, unbelievers, the corrupt, murderers, the immoral, those who practice witchcraft, idol worshipers, and all liars—their fate is in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.”
Help us Good Lord.
He calls us blessed.
