WORTHY AMBASSADORS

2 Corinthians 6:1, 4

We then, [as] workers together [with him], beseech [you] also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.

But in all [things] approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses,

Having known what Christ has done for us, there is a manner of life believers ought to live. For we have understood that Christ paid the price for our sin, and made us partakers of His Heavenly kingdom. He did not stop there He made us ambassadors, to do the work of the evangelist. Thus we became coworkers with Him.

2 Corinthians 6:3

We live in such a way that no one will stumble because of us, and no one will find fault with our ministry.

We do not take lightly the ministry entrusted to us, for each day is a day of salvation:

2 Corinthians 6:2

For God says,

“At just the right time, I heard you.

On the day of salvation, I helped you.”Indeed, the “right time” is now. Today is the day of salvation.

If spiritual leaders know this, they would understand that there is no time out. That is, do read 2 Corinthians 6:5-10. There would be difficulties yet we surge ahead, focusing on the ministry.

We must never forget that the difficulties will arise, and of course we would not suffer like the early apostles did, but surely every true believer would face persecution. We must remember that even before we go through it, WE ALREADY HAVE VICTORY!

Knowing this we ought to be careful who we have pact with:

2 Corinthians 6:14-16

Don’t team up with those who are unbelievers. How can righteousness be a partner with wickedness? How can light live with darkness?

What harmony can there be between Christ and the devil? How can a believer be a partner with an unbeliever?

And what union can there be between God’s temple and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God said:

“I will live in them

    and walk among them.

I will be their God,

and they will be my people.

Know that there is a spiritual aspect to everything, thus we must know where to draw the line.  It is terrible that believers would join unbelievers to do evil. Then both are in the pit, who would draw who out?

For there is one outside in the safe place that the one inside the unsafe place can find help!

Is it worth the sacrifice, to please the world and displease the Heavenly Father?

2 Corinthians 6:17

Therefore, come out from among unbelievers,

and separate yourselves from them, says the lord.

Don’t touch their filthy things,

    and I will welcome you.

For the reason why there is so much chaos today in the church and it seems as if there is no power, is that the church has allowed itself to be contaminated with the world. Not just now but from the infiltration of world power to the church as early as the second generation of believers.

Thus until now, the church has yet to fully understand the term "be ye separate". For we do not live outside the world yet we are not of the world. Thus the Messiah Christ Jesus prayed for us:

John 17:14-16,20

I have given them your word. And the world hates them because they do not belong to the world, just as I do not belong to the world.

I’m not asking you to take them out of the world, but to keep them safe from the evil one.

They do not belong to this world any more than I do.

“I am praying not only for these disciples but also for all who will ever believe in me through their message.

Yet it seems the church loves the world so much, our acclaimed or recognized leaders are so excited to be recognized by world leaders and "the rich", while those they are sent to are neglected, looked down on or even exploited:

James 4:3-4

And even when you ask, you don’t get it because your motives are all wrong—you want only what will give you pleasure.

You adulterers! Don’t you realize that friendship with the world makes you an enemy of God? I say it again: If you want to be a friend of the world, you make yourself an enemy of God.

What will "the led" do if they see those who should lead them chasing after the things of the world "things that would pass away"?

Do we still have" the called of the Lord", or do we just have celebrities?

*Please, Read vs 3 to 10 of 2 Corinthians again*

Are we true ambassadors for Christ?

Some so called spiritual leaders have pact with corrupt politicians and wicked employers, do they tell them the truth?

See, without separation in verse(17), we cannot claim this verse(18):

2 Corinthians 6:18

And I will be your Father, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the lord Almighty."

...terms and conditions apply...

The Lord have mercy on us.

We will be true ambassadors.

Help us Good Lord.

He calls us blessed.

Love
