I NEED YOU LORD

Matthew 5:3
“God blesses those who are poor and realize their need for him, for the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs.

When you read Matthew chapter 5:3-12(do read it now), you see Christ summarizing the nature and character of those who are acceptable to God, yes those who will enjoy the privilege of seeing the Heavenly Father and enjoying his blessings.

Wait, does that contradict something you have been taught by some jolly jolly preachers?

Look through the teachings of Christ, that of his servants Paul, Peter and other disciples you will see that the prosperity, carefree or ecstacy gospel has no place there.

There is a nature of the believer, it is neither careless, mediocre or is it in the bondage of the law. The truth is that it is founded on the love of the Heavenly Father.

Matthew 5:8-9,11
God blesses those whose hearts are pure, for they will see God.
God blesses those who work for peace, for they will be called the children of God.
“God blesses you when people mock you and persecute you and lie about you and say all sorts of evil things against you because you are my followers.

Look closely, the persecution is not because you did something wrong, because you extorted from people, or that you did not give good account or you live a flamboyant life at the expense of others, NO, the persecution that is recognized and rewarded by the Heavenly Father is that which is as a result of doing the right thing.

Daniel 6:4-5
Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he [was] faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him.
Then said these men, We shall not find any occasion against this Daniel, except we find [it] against him concerning the law of his God.

How much do you love the Heavenly Father? Can you be counted among the beneficiaries of the beatitudes?

For the very nature that makes a man partake of the beatitude is the result of the love for the Heavenly Father. It is from this love we share with the brethren and export to every person.

The desire for the Heavenly Father  makes the difference, for He is Spirit and those who worship Him do so in Spirit and in Truth. Thus the flesh is dead, thus we do what the Spirit wills, we enjoy the beatitudes.

Galatians 5:16-17
So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves.
The sinful nature wants to do evil, which is just the opposite of what the Spirit wants. And the Spirit gives us desires that are the opposite of what the sinful nature desires. These two forces are constantly fighting each other, so you are not free to carry out your good intentions.

The believer never gets to the point when they do NOT need to say "LORD I NEED YOU" for we need the Lord all the way.

It takes full focus on the Heavenly Father, yes on the eternal, to bring forth the nature that deserves the beatitudes.

Matthew 5:5-7
God blesses those who are humble, for they will inherit the whole earth.
God blesses those who hunger and thirst for justice, for they will be satisfied.
God blesses those who are merciful, for they will be shown mercy.

Do we see God's nature here, now look at what believers spend their time and energy on today, what does those sermons, teachings and prophesies prompt you to be? Do they fit the beatitudes? Do you think that the Spirit is all about producing the carnal or the secular? Or is the Spirit more interested in the souls of men, to bring them to salvation. Is the Spirit not interested in its own character (Galatians 5:22-23)?

What is the end of all you do?

Jude 1:20-21(message)
But you, dear friends, carefully build yourselves up in this most holy faith by praying in the Holy Spirit,
staying right at the center of God's love, keeping your arms open and outstretched, ready for the mercy of our Master, Jesus Christ. This is the unending life, the real life!

Our need for the Heavenly Father is sacrosanct:

Acts 17:28a
For in him we live and move and exist.

So help us Good Lord.

He calls us blessed.

Love
@the watcher.
