TWO PATHS

Habakkuk 2:4
“Look at the proud! They trust in themselves, and their lives are crooked. But the righteous will live by their faithfulness to God.

Habakkuk 2:4
Behold, his soul [which] is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.

This has been the distinction through the times of old and it is same today. Those who put their trust in the Heavenly Father and those who resist Him.

1 Peter 5:5b-6
for “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.”
So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor.

The proud are those who resist Him, they trust in themselves, their wealth or whatever things they think they have. The righteous are not so they understand who owns all things thus they submit to Him, they are not carried away with the things of the world they walk by faith.

Thus, those who submit to the Heavenly Father receive visions, they run with it and even when it seems to delay, they don't give up for they know that it will not tarry,  instead, it will surely come to pass.

Habakkuk 2:3
This vision is for a future time. It describes the end, and it will be fulfilled.
If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently, for it will surely take place. It will not be delayed.

The life of the believer is by faith.

Consider this:
every wonderful invention or any successful project or idea begins with believe, it is not there but in your mind you have created the end, as you run with it not wavering or distracted by those who refused to believe with you, you achieve it, and those who did not believe, even the mockers would be marveled at the end.

So is it with our walk of faith. We can't afford to give up or be distracted by oppositions, mockers or our environment. We walk by faith.

We are not to envy those who choose the wrong path, they could build houses make money by their evil schemes, extortions or stealing, however the end will see them paying for these evils. For you CANNOT keep doing wrong and expect to go scot free!

Habakkuk 2:6-7,9-11
“But soon their captives will taunt them. They will mock them, saying,
‘What sorrow awaits you thieves! Now you will get what you deserve!
You’ve become rich by extortion, but how much longer can this go on?’
Suddenly, your debtors will take action. They will turn on you and take all you have, while you stand trembling and helpless.
“What sorrow awaits you who build big houses with money gained dishonestly!
You believe your wealth will buy security, putting your family’s nest beyond the reach of danger.
But by the murders you committed, you have shamed your name and forfeited your lives.
The very stones in the walls cry out against you, and the beams in the ceilings echo the complaint.

It nevers pays to follow the wrong path. Choose the path that keeps you on the Heavenly Father's righteous side.

Psalms 1:3-4,6
They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season.
Their leaves never wither, and they prosper in all they do.
But not the wicked! They are like worthless chaff, scattered by the wind.
For the Lord watches over the path of the godly, but the path of the wicked leads to destruction.

You can never regret following the path of the Lord both in this life and the life to come. Stay in faith. You are a winner.

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.

He calls us blessed.
