THE RIGHT VOICE

1 John 4:4-6

But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world.
Those people belong to this world, so they speak from the world’s viewpoint, and the world listens to them.
But we belong to God, and those who know God listen to us. If they do not belong to God, they do not listen to us. That is how we know if someone has the Spirit of truth or the spirit of deception.

The book of John talks majorly of two things the anti-christ and love. For it is focused at the end times, when Christ shall return, then the final judgment. It is important that one does not fall into the deceit of the enemy neither fall out of love. (For when one dies, Christ has already returned for them. Selah)

Many claim to know Christ today, even some religions, sects or cults acclaim His name (for they are out of the faith, yet they seek relevance by finding a way to cling to the faith), however that association with Christ is fake if they do not believe the truth about Him or what the Father said about Him:

1 John 4:14-15
Furthermore, we have seen with our own eyes and now testify that the Father sent his Son to be the Savior of the world.
All who declare that Jesus is the Son of God have God living in them, and they live in God.

For in these last days many want to claim allegiance with Jesus the Christ, for not all will "openly" reject Him. However we must know when the spirit is from God.

1 John 4:1-3
Dear friends, do not believe everyone who claims to speak by the Spirit. You must test them to see if the spirit they have comes from God. For there are many false prophets in the world.
This is how we know if they have the Spirit of God: If a person claiming to be a prophet acknowledges that Jesus Christ came in a real body, that person has the Spirit of God.
But if someone claims to be a prophet and does not acknowledge the truth about Jesus, that person is not from God. Such a person has the spirit of the Antichrist, which you heard is coming into the world and indeed is already here.

We know, for we carry God’s Spirit within us, thus we overcome all the vices of the enemy:

1 John 4:13
And God has given us his Spirit as proof that we live in him and he in us.

Then we live in love, for the first character of the spirit is love, Galatians 5:22:

Thus the evidence of God's Spirit is love, not like the love of the world but the type that comes from God and has no fear:

1 John 4:16-19
We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love. God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them.
And as we live in God, our love grows more perfect. So we will not be afraid on the day of judgment, but we can face him with confidence because we live like Jesus here in this world.
Such love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear. If we are afraid, it is for fear of punishment, and this shows that we have not fully experienced his perfect love.
We love each other because he loved us first.

It is how it is, the kingdom of God does not involve playing around.

One of the deadliest position to take as a believer is to be lukewarm, it only results to one thing, rejection!

Revelation 3:15-16
“I know all the things you do, that you are neither hot nor cold. I wish that you were one or the other!
But since you are like lukewarm water, neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth!

No, we are not like this, neither are we carefree. We believe and we live the life of Christ.

1 John 4:15,17
All who declare that Jesus is the Son of God have God living in them, and they live in God.
And as we live in God, our love grows more perfect. So we will not be afraid on the day of judgment, but we can face him with confidence because we live like Jesus here in this world.

We will not be rejected, we are kept for the perfection of our salvation, when we will be like Him:

1 Peter 1:3-5
All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is by his great mercy that we have been born again, because God raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Now we live with great expectation,
and we have a priceless inheritance—an inheritance that is kept in heaven for you, pure and undefiled, beyond the reach of change and decay.
And through your faith, God is protecting you by his power until you receive this salvation, which is ready to be revealed on the last day for all to see.

So be careful of all the voices out there, even some that try to slip into your mind. Stay in the word, stay in prayer. We must finish well.
