RIGHTEOUS BY FAITH

Romans 3:19-20
Obviously, the law applies to those to whom it was given, for its purpose is to keep people from having excuses, and to show that the entire world is guilty before God.
For no one can ever be made right with God by doing what the law commands. The law simply shows us how sinful we are.

Is God justified to judge the world since our weakness shows His strength? Yes, for we still have the power of will, the power to follow Him or to deny.

The justification of man is not by the law, for the law brings the awareness of man's weakness. For God Himself remains faithful even if man is unfaithful. Thus one can only be justified with Him by faith.

Ephesians 2:8-9
God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God.
Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.

Those that got God's attention in the times of old were those who had faith, they believed God and they proved it by their obedience.

Genesis 15:6
And Abram believed the Lord, and the Lord counted him as righteous because of his faith.

Glory to God.

The salvation of man is utterly God's work, the role of man is to believe, in believing we receive.

Thus the fact that many of the Jews through whom salvation was to be revealed to the whole world were not faithful, God's plan could not be stopped, for God Himself remains faithful. So we see that Christ was revealed through them and those of them who believed like their father Abraham were saved.

Thus we win by yielding to the Heavenly Father, not from the fear of the law but love of Him, which is from our heart thus we can obey Him and please Him. We then can never be faulted by the law. We have a higher calling.

We have victory for we lean on Him who is faithful.

Glory to God.

He calls us blessed.
