NEVER WALK IN DARKNESS
Romans 1:18,21
But God shows his anger from heaven against all sinful, wicked people who suppress the truth by their wickedness.
Yes, they knew God, but they wouldn’t worship him as God or even give him thanks. And they began to think up foolish ideas of what God was like. As a result, their minds became dark and confused.
There are two types of foolishness:
* those who DO NOT believe that there is a God;
and
* those who believe that there is a God, BUT refuse to acknowledge Him.
Psalms 14:1
Only fools say in their hearts,
“There is no God.” They are corrupt, and their actions are evil; not one of them does good!
The thing is that rejecting God or His light does not leave one in a vacuum, for man cannot be a vacuum, something else must occupy the space. Thus there is either light or darkness!
For darkness is the absence of light.
Thus in rejecting God man becomes a fool, for other things take the place of God, funny enough those things ought to be beneath man.
Romans 1:21-22

Claiming to be wise, they instead became utter fools.
It was this foolishness that brought about idol worship.
Romans 1:23
And instead of worshiping the glorious, ever-living God, they worshiped idols made to look like mere people and birds and animals and reptiles.
This is why the Lord instructed the children of Israel not to make any image of anything in heaven or earth, and truly no one knows the picture or look of Christ, that we may not be deceived to idolatry for bowing to statues, pictures or images is idolatry!
Exodus 20:4-5
“You must not make for yourself an idol of any kind or an image of anything in the heavens or on the earth or in the sea.
You must not bow down to them or worship them, for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God who will not tolerate your affection for any other gods. I lay the sins of the parents upon their children; the entire family is affected—even children in the third and fourth generations of those who reject me.
Look at the foolishness of the children of Israel in the wilderness. They had just heard from God, then Moses went up to get instructions, in less than two months they had already compelled Aaron to make an image for them to worship. No wonder none of them was allowed to enter the promised land.
Today, we see some who claimed to have come to the Heavenly Father, yet they live as if they worshiped something else, for they still want to do corruption. Just like Sodom and Gomorrah that was destroyed. The bible tells us from Paul's letter that the Lord leaves them to their rebellion and they are rewarded for their evils:
Romans 1:24-25
So God abandoned them to do whatever shameful things their hearts desired. As a result, they did vile and degrading things with each other’s bodies.
They traded the truth about God for a lie. So they worshiped and served the things God created instead of the Creator himself, who is worthy of eternal praise! Amen.
How can anyone claim that homosexuality is acceptable to God. It is a derision. For in rejecting God, they actually reject their salvation and are condemned. They thus inflict injury to themselves by the abominable life they live.
Romans 1:29-31
Their lives became full of every kind of wickedness, sin, greed, hate, envy, murder, quarreling, deception, malicious behavior, and gossip.
They are backstabbers, haters of God, insolent, proud, and boastful. They invent new ways of sinning, and they disobey their parents.
They refuse to understand, break their promises, are heartless, and have no mercy. (You can't be a believer and display these characteristics!)
Many evil characters are displayed and there is only one thing left for them - destruction:
Romans 1:32
They know God’s justice requires that those who do these things deserve to die, yet they do them anyway. Worse yet, they encourage others to do them, too.
It is one thing to err, in doing wrong, it is worse still to teach others, especially the young in faith to follow this same evil.
Matthew 18:6-7
But if you cause one of these little ones who trusts in me to fall into sin, it would be better for you to have a large millstone tied around your neck and be drowned in the depths of the sea.
“What sorrow awaits the world, because it tempts people to sin. Temptations are inevitable, but what sorrow awaits the person who does the tempting.
We who are of light should follow its path, we must never be distracted, for darkness cannot overcome light. Thus we are victorious. Glory to God.
We believe in the Heavenly Father, we acknowledge His revelation of Himself through His Son Jesus the Christ. We walk in His light.
Glory to God.
He calls us blessed.
