WHY LOVE WICKEDNESS?
Hosea 7:3
“The people entertain the king with their wickedness, and the princes laugh at their lies.
How can anyone or people work wickedness and think that nothing will come out of it, that they will go scott free?
It is not wisdom to feel that you can keep doing evil and assume that you will get away with it.
We have people, even acclaimed believers who do this:
Hosea 7:10
Their arrogance testifies against them, yet they don’t return to the Lord their God or even try to find him.
We must understand that wickedness is anti-God and those who practice it have only one expectation from God - destruction!
Hosea 7:12
But as they fly about, I will throw my net over them
and bring them down like a bird from the sky. I will punish them for all the evil they do.
1 John 3:8-10
But when people keep on sinning, it shows that they belong to the devil, who has been sinning since the beginning. But the Son of God came to destroy the works of the devil.
Those who have been born into God’s family do not make a practice of sinning, because God’s life is in them. So they can’t keep on sinning, because they are children of God.
So now we can tell who are children of God and who are children of the devil. Anyone who does not live righteously and does not love other believers does not belong to God.
2 Peter 3:17-18
You already know these things, dear friends. So be on guard; then you will not be carried away by the errors of these wicked people and lose your own secure footing.
Rather, you must grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.All glory to him, both now and forever! Amen.
We have no business with wickedness, we are children of light, we display the character of our Heavenly Father and that character is love.
Our desire therefore is to know more of Him that we become more like Him. Glory to God.
Thank you Heavenly Father for our salvation. May all we do please You at all times.
