THE AUTHORITY OF CHRIST
1 Peter 3:22
Now Christ has gone to heaven. He is seated in the place of honor next to God, and all the angels and authorities and powers accept his authority.
This is the whole gospel, the authority of Christ. For before Christ was revealed man only knew of a Sovereign God, even then they did not have any glimpse or knowledge of His fullness. This was why Moses desired so much to see Him, however what He wanted to see could not be seen for only one person could reveal the Father, Himself.
Colossians 2:8-9
Don’t let anyone capture you with empty philosophies and high-sounding nonsense that come from human thinking and from the spiritual powers of this world, rather than from Christ.
For in Christ lives all the fullness of God in a human body.
There is no way the Father could be revealed to anyone without the Son, for the Son proceeded from the Father, that is, He came from the Father . ..
Some who practice religion think that the proceeding means creation like Adam was created. Thus they erroneously compare Christ to a prophet or other created beings, no, they err, John explains it:
John 1:1-4
In the beginning the Word already existed.
The Word was with God, and the Word was God.
He existed in the beginning with God.
God created everything through him, and nothing was created except through him.
The Word gave life to everything that was created, and his life brought light to everyone.
He said it:
John 1:18
No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared [him].
Without His coming to earth no one can receive redemption, for all men remain trapped in the grave.
See Martha's conversation with Him:
John 11:21-27
Martha said to Jesus, “Lord, if only you had been here, my brother would not have died.
But even now I know that God will give you whatever you ask.”
Jesus told her, “Your brother will rise again.”
“Yes,” Martha said, “he will rise when everyone else rises, at the last day.”
Jesus told her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying.
Everyone who lives in me and believes in me will never ever die. Do you believe this, Martha?”
“Yes, Lord,” she told him. “I have always believed you are the Messiah, the Son of God, the one who has come into the world from God.”
Listen, many times a new generation was to be started because of the failure of man, just as it happened after the flood, however man can not save man, see what the Father said:
Genesis 6:5-6
The Lord observed the extent of human wickedness on the earth, and he saw that everything they thought or imagined was consistently and totally evil.
So the Lord was sorry he had ever made them and put them on the earth. It broke his heart.
Man can never save man, religion cannot save man, only God can save man that is why He came and died.
And in His resurrection He received liberation for man, and He even was positioned for all glory and will judge everyone.

Did He just receive glory? NO, He was in glory even before He came to earth:
John 17:1-5
After saying all these things, Jesus looked up to heaven and said, “Father, the hour has come. Glorify your Son so he can give glory back to you.
For you have given him authority over everyone. He gives eternal life to each one you have given him.
And this is the way to have eternal life—to know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, the one you sent to earth.
I brought glory to you here on earth by completing the work you gave me to do.
Now, Father, bring me into the glory we shared before the world began.
Glory to God!
Never dispute the authority of Christ, instead submit to Him, for to Him will all account. LET THE WHOLE WORLD KNOW THIS TRUTH!
