RESTORATION (Joel 3)
Joel 3:20-21
“But Judah will be filled with people forever, and Jerusalem will endure through all generations.
I will pardon my people’s crimes, which I have not yet pardoned;
and I, the Lord, will make my home in Jerusalem with my people.”
Revelation 21:1-3
Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the old heaven and the old earth had disappeared. And the sea was also gone.
And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven like a bride beautifully dressed for her husband.
I heard a loud shout from the throne, saying, “Look, God’s home is now among his people! He will live with them, and they will be his people. God himself will be with them.
In the end there will be a restoration, those who have endured for the cause of the gospel will be rewarded with dwelling with God forever. For those who trust in the Lord will never be put to shame.
Many do not speak of the afterlife nowadays because people seek direction on how to live here. Well, this is important, however the Holy Spirit is here to guide the believer and the Lord has set elders and teachers among us to help us understand. Truly we need direction for our living here on earth.
However as we see each new day and rejoice in God's goodness in bringing us forth daily. We also should be reminded that each new day reduces the numbers of days we have left to spend here. Thus we cannot ignore the after here.
The Lord is a Lord of restoration, the prophetic books show us His desire for the lost Israel to return.
We must take full advantage of His Mercy and Love. We will be restored. For God's plan for man from the beginning must be fulfilled. Those who believe will be part of that rejoicing remnant, Glory to God.
He calls us blessed.
