LIVING THE NEW LIFE

1 Peter 2:2
Like newborn babies, you must crave pure spiritual milk so that you will grow into a full experience of salvation. Cry out for this nourishment,

There is a lifestyle of the believer, and it gets better and better by the day, just like our natural growth, we grow spiritually. This is what many believers lack, and it is caused by inadequate teaching, or poor follow up. Thus they either grow abnormally or remain stunted. Neither is good, though one is more dangerous.

Now one thing is clear, there is never an age you get to where you no longer need food or nourishment. NO!

*Then let me add this, even when you get to the level of meat and bones you do not completely remove the water, milk or cereal. Selah(Let the worded ruminate over this)*

Thus to be able to live the new life you have to learn its principles, receive its power and adapt to its nature.

You cannot do without the word. You pray by the word, you worship by the word, you proclaim by the word and you live by the word.

Thus every new believer must begin with the milk then mature to strong meat.

See, there are so many voices, however the voice you should listen to is the one from the Heavenly Father:

John 1:18
No one has ever seen God. But the unique One, who is himself God, is near to the Father’s heart. He has revealed God to us.

Until this truth sink into you, you cannot begin the journey with the Father, you will be trapped in religion(which is manmade), self righteousness, laws and a form of godliness.

John 3:5-7
Jesus replied, “I assure you, no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit.
Humans can reproduce only human life, but the Holy Spirit gives birth to spiritual life.
So don’t be surprised when I say, ‘You must be born again.’

Then we need to grow continually, and the only way to do this is by the word.

Many do not know how to study the word, many read but do not understand. What are they missing? The true hunger and desire to know, sincerity of heart which will cause you to surrender and the Holy Spirit of the Living God.

Understand thee, what thou readeth? This was the question, Philip asked the Ethiopian eunuch. For until we see Christ  revealed in scriptures, we are yet blinded by the veil.

John 5:39
“You search the Scriptures because you think they give you eternal life. But the Scriptures point to me!

Our new life is hid in Christ, it surpasses the world and its system, it is the best assurance ever. The best decision anyone can take. Glory to God.

Colossians 3:1-4
Since you have been raised to new life with Christ, set your sights on the realities of heaven, where Christ sits in the place of honor at God’s right hand.
Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth.
For you died to this life, and your real life is hidden with Christ in God.
And when Christ, who is your life, is revealed to the whole world, you will share in all his glory.

While living this life, temptations and trials will arise, always remember that we are more than conquerors.

We live a victorious life, the life of Him who is above all and created all. The one who has the final say, who will make all things new. Glory to His name.

He calls us blessed.
