Hosea 12:8
Israel boasts, “I am rich! I’ve made a fortune all by myself!
No one has caught me cheating!
My record is spotless!”
The walk of the righteous is not just for the fear of the consequences of their wrong, if they err, it is birth out of love. And just as 1 Corinthians 13 explains, love is kind.
For the fact that it seems as if no one sees you when you do those wrong does not mean that they do not actually make an impact, for many have been embarrassed by untamed character, a careless lifestyle that they thought they could hide for long, however if they do not tame it on time, it could become a large embarrassment in times they ought to glory.
Proverbs 28:13
People who conceal their sins will not prosper, but if they confess and turn from them, they will receive mercy.
It is not that anyone could not err - we wear a physical suit -, yes we still wear the fleshy body. However we are meant to carry transformed minds, which is yielding to God's Spirit as He builds God's nature in us:
Romans 12:1-2
And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him.
Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.
We who are are saved, cannot live like enemies of God. Jesus said that He does not call us servants anymore but friends.
Hebrews 12:12-13
So take a new grip with your tired hands and strengthen your weak knees.
Mark out a straight path for your feet so that those who are weak and lame will not fall but become strong.
We cannot play lots with such great a privilege.
The beauty of it all is that, that is what God's Spirit helps us with, to continually please the Father. So help us Lord. We yield to your Spirit.
He calls us blessed.
