DON'T LOOSE YOUR GLORY
Hosea 13:1
When the tribe of Ephraim spoke, the people shook with fear, for that tribe was important in Israel.
But the people of Ephraim sinned by worshiping Baal and thus sealed their destruction.
Proverbs 14:34
Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin [is] a reproach to any people.
Our time on earth is a journey beginning from when we were born till when we leave the scene. Just like every journey it has different turns, twists, hills, valleys, rivers etc.
Imagine walking or driving behind some people then one fell into a ditch, another tripped over a stone while another continued straight on the path having a smooth journey to the end.
It will be foolish to fall into the same pit, or trip over the same stone.

1 Corinthians 10:11-14
These things happened to them as examples for us. They were written down to warn us who live at the end of the age.
If you think you are standing strong, be careful not to fall.
The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure.
So, my dear friends, flee from the worship of idols.
Many believers have lost their hold and power because of idolatry. One of the greatest form of idolatry is Pride, Worship of oneself!
This is what the enemy sold to Eve in the garden, for it is what made him fall. How can we fall for the same thing?
Atheism is actually the worship of oneself, for you feel that you are so important that a being could not have created you! Check
Rejecting salvation in the Son of the Living God, Christ Jesus, is also pride, for you feel that you can dictate to God what salvation is, or follow some laws or rules that could make you worthy of Him, when only Him can make you clean. Check
Psalms 130:3
Lord, if you kept a record of our sins, who, O Lord, could ever survive?
For man cannot help himself, no not religion, no prophet, neither a person can help man. Only the Father Himself can, that is why He came through His Son to set man free.
John 3:13,15-16,18
No one has ever gone to heaven and returned. But the Son of Man has come down from heaven.
so that everyone who believes in him will have eternal life.
“For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.
“There is no judgment against anyone who believes in him. But anyone who does not believe in him has already been judged for not believing in God’s one and only Son.
Believe in Him is total, you cannot pretend about it, that is believing comes before confession.
Romans 10:10,14,17
For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.
But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them?
So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ.
Listen to what someone thought would bring them salvation:
Luke 18:9-14
Then Jesus told this story to some who had great confidence in their own righteousness and scorned everyone else:
“Two men went to the Temple to pray. One was a Pharisee, and the other was a despised tax collector.
The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed this prayer: ‘I thank you, God, that I am not a sinner like everyone else. For I don’t cheat, I don’t sin, and I don’t commit adultery. I’m certainly not like that tax collector!
I fast twice a week, and I give you a tenth of my income.’
“But the tax collector stood at a distance and dared not even lift his eyes to heaven as he prayed. Instead, he beat his chest in sorrow, saying, ‘O God, be merciful to me, for I am a sinner.’
I tell you, this sinner, not the Pharisee, returned home justified before God. For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.”
Humility and submission towards God is accepting His salvation plan and being led by His Spirit. For it takes the Spirit to worship a God who is Spirit.
John 4:23-24
But the time is coming—indeed it’s here now—when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. The Father is looking for those who will worship him that way.
For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth.”
The children of Israel and Ephraim at the time of prophet Hosea could not get it right because they just could not yield their spirit. Thus there heart could not stay with God.
Hosea 13:2
Now they continue to sin by making silver idols, images shaped skillfully with human hands.
“Sacrifice to these,” they cry, “and kiss the calf idols!”
Human religion is of the flesh, a form of idolatry that keeps you from the Heavenly Father(if only you will yield your spirit to understand)
Acts 4:11-12
For Jesus is the one referred to in the Scriptures, where it says,
‘The stone that you builders rejected has now become the cornerstone.’
There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.”
To maintain our glory we must remain in the Spirit, we cannot rely on flesh, for the flesh is contaminated with the world:
1 John 2:15-17
Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you.
For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world.
And this world is fading away, along with everything that people crave. But anyone who does what pleases God will live forever.
We must be more interested in what God thinks about us more than what humans think about us, this has hindered many people from being saved. They forget that in the end, even when one dies, they do it alone. Everyone stands for his or self, no pastor, imam, priest, elder, parent, family, cult, no one will stand on your behalf.
John 5:44
No wonder you can’t believe! For you gladly honor each other, but you don’t care about the honor that comes from the one who alone is God
This pandemic has shown that everyone is actually on their own.
Only Christ could die for everyone, He would have just left man to be hopeless, but no, He loved man. How can we reject such love.
We will not get carried away with self, we will submit to the one who sacrificed Himself for us, He rose that we may rise again. He has prepared a place for us, that we may have a place in the Heavenly Father's kingdom. Glory to God.
John 14:2-3,6
There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you?
When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am.
Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.
Ephesians 2:6
For he raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ Jesus.
We will not loose our glory if we stay with the one who gives us the Glory. So help us Loving Father.
He calls us blessed.
