CHAOS

Joel 1:19-20
Lord , help us!
The fire has consumed the wilderness pastures, and flames have burned up all the trees.
Even the wild animals cry out to you because the streams have dried up, and fire has consumed the wilderness pastures.

One thing we must understand about chaos is that, with all its seeming disaster, disorder, panic, rumblings or shake ups, it gives birth to a new phase.

Let us look at some events in scriptures:

Genesis 1:2,31
The earth was formless and empty, and darkness covered the deep waters. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters.
Then God looked over all he had made, and he saw that it was very good! And evening passed and morning came, marking the sixth day.

The earth was chaotic, then a beauty was created.

Genesis 6:5-7
The Lord observed the extent of human wickedness on the earth, and he saw that everything they thought or imagined was consistently and totally evil.
So the Lord was sorry he had ever made them and put them on the earth. It broke his heart.
And the Lord said, “I will wipe this human race I have created from the face of the earth. Yes, and I will destroy every living thing—all the people, the large animals, the small animals that scurry along the ground, and even the birds of the sky. I am sorry I ever made them.”

Genesis 7:23-24
God wiped out every living thing on the earth—people, livestock, small animals that scurry along the ground, and the birds of the sky. All were destroyed. The only people who survived were Noah and those with him in the boat.
And the floodwaters covered the earth for 150 days.

Sin ravished the earth, a form of chaos, then came the flood, and everything was reset.

After the revelation of Abraham, the chaos was exemplified in the children of Israel, each chaos brought about a change, from Moses bringing them out of Egypt, to the judges that did exploits in protecting them from their enemies to the kings who rose and fell depending on how faithful they were to God, then the exiles. . .

The biggest chaos was when the Son of God came to earth by the power of His Spirit. Herod was restless, sons were killed just to ensure He was not born, finally after 30 years of living and 3 years of ministering publicly, He was killed, a chaos that was prophesied, God's own will, so that a change could take place.

1 Peter 3:18
Christ suffered for our sins once for all time. He never sinned, but he died for sinners to bring you safely home to God. He suffered physical death, but he was raised to life in the Spirit.

Ephesians 2:14-16
For Christ himself has brought peace to us. He united Jews and Gentiles into one people when, in his own body on the cross, he broke down the wall of hostility that separated us.
He did this by ending the system of law with its commandments and regulations. He made peace between Jews and Gentiles by creating in himself one new people from the two groups.
Together as one body, Christ reconciled both groups to God by means of his death on the cross, and our hostility toward each other was put to death.

Are you going through a chaos, know that a new thing is about to be birthed.

Have you taken advantage of the new birth that Christ brought to every soul, have you been born again? No need to delay.

If you are born again, know that every chaos that comes your way is by default going to work for your good:

Romans 8:28
And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.

There is yet going to be a great chaos, bigger than all the wars, famine, terror, natural disasters, pandemics or economic meltdowns. This chaos will bring about the end of all things, your religions(all will see that they are man-made), denominations, money and all other sentiments will be worthless, they will pass away, but those who are saved in Christ will rejoice for they will see that they have not believed in vain. For those who died will rise into eternal life and those still living will be changed into the heavenly body and we will reign with Christ forever.

This is the final chaos!

Are you insured, are you ready?

1 Thessalonians 4:16-18
For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. First, the believers who have died will rise from their graves.
Then, together with them, we who are still alive and remain on the earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Then we will be with the Lord forever.
So encourage each other with these words.

Don't get lost in the chaos, be ready for change!

Glory to God.

He calls us blessed.

Love
