THE GOOD OF THE LAW
Exodus 23:1-2,8
“You must not pass along false rumors. You must not cooperate with evil people by lying on the witness stand.
“You must not follow the crowd in doing wrong. When you are called to testify in a dispute, do not be swayed by the crowd to twist justice.
“Take no bribes, for a bribe makes you ignore something that you clearly see. A bribe makes even a righteous person twist the truth.

The University of Wisconsin- Madison had this excerpt on its article on the Legal Studies Programme:
The Bible does not focus primarily on matters of secular (i.e., non-religious) law, but what it does say about law had a great influence on later legal systems in many parts of the world
Thus we see what Paul wrote:
Romans 7:12
But still, the law itself is holy, and its commands are holy and right and good.
But still, the law itself is holy, and its commands are holy and right and good.
1 Timothy 1:7-10
They want to be known as teachers of the law of Moses, but they don’t know what they are talking about, even though they speak so confidently.
We know that the law is good when used correctly.
For the law was not intended for people who do what is right. It is for people who are lawless and rebellious, who are ungodly and sinful, who consider nothing sacred and defile what is holy, who kill their father or mother or commit other murders.
The law is for people who are sexually immoral, or who practice homosexuality, or are slave traders, liars, promise breakers, or who do anything else that contradicts the wholesome teaching

Thus the law was not intended for the godly but the ungodly. Thus there is no way you have a secular system without laws.
I love the way the Amplified version put it:
1 Timothy 1:8
It's true that moral guidance and counsel need to be given, but the way you say it and to whom you say it are as important as what you say.
It's true that moral guidance and counsel need to be given, but the way you say it and to whom you say it are as important as what you say.
For those who have believed, we are not trapped in the condemnation of the law but we by the Spirit walk in obedience of God:
1 Timothy 1:5(Amp.)
The whole point of what we're urging is simply love - love uncontaminated by self-interest and counterfeit faith, a life open to God.

1 Timothy 1:5
Now the end of the commandment is charity(love) out of a pure heart, and [of] a good conscience, and [of] faith unfeigned:
Now the end of the commandment is charity(love) out of a pure heart, and [of] a good conscience, and [of] faith unfeigned:
Thus as a believer you are not a law breaker but God pleaser. Selah
For when people read Romans 8, they seemed not to note that the condition for freedom from condemnation is living by God's Spirit:
Romans 8:1
[There is] therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, *who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.*
[There is] therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, *who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.*
Romans 8:12-14
Therefore, dear brothers and sisters, you have no obligation to do what your sinful nature urges you to do.
For if you live by its dictates, you will die. But if through the power of the Spirit you put to death the deeds of your sinful nature, you will live.
For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.
Dear Father may we always live by the dictates of your Spirit, may all our ways please you.
Thank you dear Father.
He calls us blessed.
Love
