LEADING
Exodus 27:8
The altar must be hollow, made from planks. Build it just as you were shown on the mountain.
The leader must be the one with direction, he receives the instructions, for he should be the one representing the people in the presence of the Lord. Remember, he leads because there are people to be led, thus it is not that those people do not have their individual relationship, but their coming together forms a sect and the sect must be driven by a leader. It is a great deal that the leader was the one or under whose ministry that soul was saved, however everyone is led one way or the other. Thus the leader must be led by the Heavenly Father, he must see.
So one should not interprete the truth being revealed that salvation is personal between a person and the Heavenly Father to mean that we do not have spiritual leaders or authorities here on earth, NO, however many even from the old times have derailed from the leadership and teaching of Christ and His disciples. They have been polluted with the world system/government, search for money and fame, and the desire to take God's place in the life of the people.
This is not acceptable. Listen to Jesus:
Mark 10:42-45
So Jesus called them together and said, “You know that the rulers in this world lord it over their people, and officials flaunt their authority over those under them.
But among you it will be different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant,
and whoever wants to be first among you must be the slave of everyone else.
For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
Does it mean that we do not honour or cater for those who lead us, No, however see how the apostle Paul led:
1 Thessalonians 2:7-11
As apostles of Christ we certainly had a right to make some demands of you, but instead we were like children among you. Or we were like a mother feeding and caring for her own children.
We loved you so much that we shared with you not only God’s Good News but our own lives, too.
Don’t you remember, dear brothers and sisters, how hard we worked among you? Night and day we toiled to earn a living so that we would not be a burden to any of you as we preached God’s Good News to you.
You yourselves are our witnesses—and so is God—that we were devout and honest and faultless toward all of you believers.
And you know that we treated each of you as a father treats his own children.
Do pastors receive from the church, yes:
Galatians 6:6
Those who are taught the word of God should provide for their teachers, sharing all good things with them.
We know that if ministry is to expand that is souls are to be saved, the saved become a source of income to minister to the unsaved who are to be reached.
However we should not get it wrong, the head must get the direction from the Heavenly Father, they must be shown the specifications that they may lead the people aright.
The duty of the leaders or clergy is to keep the fire burning. Selah!
Exodus 27:20-21
“Command the people of Israel to bring you pure oil of pressed olives for the light, to keep the lamps burning continually.
The lampstand will stand in the Tabernacle, in front of the inner curtain that shields the Ark of the Covenant. Aaron and his sons must keep the lamps burning in the Lord's presence all night. This is a permanent law for the people of Israel, and it must be observed from generation to generation.
So wake up church leaders, come off your slumber.
We go on television, cable tv and other forms of media and see a lot of atrocities, lies, secularity, and junks dished out in the name of the Lord and we wonder how did we get here?
Because of grace, some do not understand the meaning of "sacred", it seems to be a mad rush for earthy gain.
However those who know the truth should remain strong, following the word as revealed in scriptures, prayerful and attentive in the Spirit, for the end is not too far away, thus the release of all these wickedness.
The Father is Holy and so is His temple, which we are. May we lead aright and be led aright. Our fire will keep burning.
He calls us blessed.

May the Lord equip us to be good leaders or followers as the case may be at different levels. Amen
