CHRIST OUR EVERYTHING

Exodus 30:7-8
“Every morning when Aaron maintains the lamps, he must burn fragrant incense on the altar.
And each evening when he lights the lamps, he must again burn incense in the Lord's presence. This must be done from generation to generation.

Christ took care of this:

Ephesians 5:2
Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ. He loved us and offered himself as a sacrifice for us, a pleasing aroma to God.

Exodus 30:12-16
“Whenever you take a census of the people of Israel, each man who is counted must pay a ransom for himself to the Lord. Then no plague will strike the people as you count them.
Each person who is counted must give a small piece of silver as a sacred offering to the Lord. (This payment is half a shekel, based on the sanctuary shekel, which equals twenty gerahs.)
All who have reached their twentieth birthday must give this sacred offering to the lord.
When this offering is given to the Lord to purify your lives, making you right with him, the rich must not give more than the specified amount, and the poor must not give less.
Receive this ransom money from the Israelites, and use it for the care of the Tabernacle. It will bring the Israelites to the Lord's attention, and it will purify your lives.”

He took care of this too:

1 Corinthians 6:20
for God bought you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body.

Exodus 30:31-33
And say to the people of Israel, ‘This holy anointing oil is reserved for me from generation to generation.
It must never be used to anoint anyone else, and you must never make any blend like it for yourselves. It is holy, and you must treat it as holy.
Anyone who makes a blend like it or anoints someone other than a priest will be cut off from the community.’”

Christ Jesus was anointed thus as the final sacrifice for humanity:

Matthew 26:7,12-13
While he was eating, a woman came in with a beautiful alabaster jar of expensive perfume and poured it over his head.
She has poured this perfume on me to prepare my body for burial.
I tell you the truth, wherever the Good News is preached throughout the world, this woman’s deed will be remembered and discussed.”

(This was the only woman Christ talked about to be remembered when the gospel is preached, be careful orthodox people!)

Exodus 30:36-38
Grind some of the mixture into a very fine powder and put it in front of the Ark of the Covenant, where I will meet with you in the Tabernacle. You must treat this incense as most holy.
Never use this formula to make this incense for yourselves. It is reserved for the Lord, and you must treat it as holy.
Anyone who makes incense like this for personal use will be cut off from the community.”

Christ took care of this too:

2 Corinthians 2:15-16
Our lives are a Christ-like fragrance rising up to God. But this fragrance is perceived differently by those who are being saved and by those who are perishing.
To those who are perishing, we are a dreadful smell of death and doom. But to those who are being saved, we are a life-giving perfume. And who is adequate for such a task as this?

So we do not need to worry about all these procedures anymore Christ has taken care of it all, the one perfect sacrifice, the fulfilment of the law. Glory to God.

Hebrews 10:10,14
For God’s will was for us to be made holy by the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ, once for all time.
For by that one offering he forever made perfect those who are being made holy.

Hebrews 9:11-15
So Christ has now become the High Priest over all the good things that have come. He has entered that greater, more perfect Tabernacle in heaven, which was not made by human hands and is not part of this created world.
With his own blood—not the blood of goats and calves—he entered the Most Holy Place once for all time and secured our redemption forever.
Under the old system, the blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer could cleanse people’s bodies from ceremonial impurity.
Just think how much more the blood of Christ will purify our consciences from sinful deeds so that we can worship the living God. For by the power of the eternal Spirit, Christ offered himself to God as a perfect sacrifice for our sins.
That is why he is the one who mediates a new covenant between God and people, so that all who are called can receive the eternal inheritance God has promised them. For Christ died to set them free from the penalty of the sins they had committed under that first covenant.

Thus, Christ has done it all for us, why should anyone want to return to bondage. We accept this redemption and enjoy the presence of our Heavenly Father.

We cannot stop praising Him for His great redemption. Glory to God.

He calls us blessed.

Love
