LEAVE GOD'S OWN ALONE

Genesis 31:24
But the previous night God had appeared to Laban the Aramean in a dream and told him, “I’m warning you—leave Jacob alone!”

Persecution of those who serve(find favour of) the Lord has always been from the beginning, for we read that Cain hated his brother because his brother found favour of the Lord. The enemy deceived the first family because he was envious of God's attention to man. Joseph was betrayed because his brother envied the attention he got and the bright future he prophesied. Other leaders in Babylon plotted against Daniel because of the favour and grace he carried.

The Jewish leaders plotted against Jesus for the envied the attention He got, it seemed he had displaced them from their cherished high thrones.

Matthew 27:18
(He knew very well that the religious leaders had arrested Jesus out of envy.)

They also persecuted the Apostles because of envy!

Acts 13:45
But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy, and spake against those things which were spoken by Paul, contradicting and blaspheming.

LEAVE GOD'S OWN ALONE!

Yes, we have so many false prophets all over the place, some have taken over the air waves through television especially cable in the name of "the Lord". Yes multitude of them are false.

However we talk of those who are of God who are among us that we want to take advantage of, because of their simple and humble nature. Some would want to mock, some would want to get them into trouble. It has been an age long foolishness, for it was the men that went to throw Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego into the furnace that got burnt. In the same vain, it was those who plotted and got Daniel thrown into the lion's den that eventually got devoured by the lions.

Leave God's own alone.

For while some favour them and get blessed, others attack them and get consumed.

For the favoured of the Lord does not mean those who carry religious titles, or claim spiritual powers or authorities. Not those who have already exalted themselves. NO! It is those whose heart are of the Lord, who serve the Lord sincerely.

Is your heart with the Lord, or has something else taken His place?

It is time to realign, He who promised is faithful.

Hebrews 10:23
Let us hold fast the profession of [our] faith without wavering; (for he [is] faithful that promised;)

All the glory to the Heavenly Father, for He keeps His own and woe to them who come against His own. Halleluyah.

He calls us blessed.
