A GENERATION OF PRAISE

Genesis 24:12
And he said, O LORD God of my master Abraham, I pray thee, send me good speed this day, and shew kindness unto my master Abraham.

He was supposed to be a servant, however his actions were like that of a son. The eldest servant of Abraham was able to use what he learned from his master (father) and thus succeeded in his mission.

Remember what God said:

Genesis 18:19
For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.

What do our children, wards, servants, employees and dependants learn from us? How to party, get drunk, fight, lie, cheat etc? NO!

REMEMBER EYES WATCH WHAT YOU DO! The young mind copies your lifestyle and if you don't get mercy, they multiply it.

This cannot be our lot. We must have a good testimony as Abraham did. We will sing the song "my generation shall praise Your name".

Furthermore, where did Rebekah learn her good manners from?

It is good to begin to lead them aright while they are young, you continue when they have grown older, you can correct the mistakes by counsel and prayers. We must be good examples no matter what season of life we are in, old or young:

1 Timothy 4:12
Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity.

May we be know as positive influencers. We are the light just as Christ declared:

Matthew 5:14
Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

REMEMBER, SOMEONE IS ALWAYS WATCHING!

Our generation shall praise the Lord.

He calls us blessed.

Love
@the watcher
