SELECTION
Genesis 7:1
And the LORD said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation.
One thing the enemy wants people to believe is that there is no selection, that everyone can live how they want to live and that there is no divine intervention to bring people to account.
Genesis 3:4
And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
John 8:44
For you are the children of your father the devil, and you love to do the evil things he does. He was a murderer from the beginning. He has always hated the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, it is consistent with his character; for he is a liar and the father of lies.
The world cries out for liberty, that people should be allowed to live anyhow they want, that God does not matter, yet they seek for prayers for the convicted and the word of God in correction homes. If anyone could live anyhow, why are there courts and prisons?
For the world heap out or allow a lot of corrupt and evil things through various forms and media and yet ask why people misbehave.
People are influenced by what they see and hear. To have a sane society, we must have a sane media! We must have good examples.
Do we talk about leaders who are bad examples. How do you steal and still want to decide the fate of thieves?
Romans 2:1
Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.
Teaching during the ministry of Jesus on earth, He emphasized SELECTION:
Matthew 25:32-34
All the nations will be gathered in his presence, and he will separate the people as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.
He will place the sheep at his right hand and the goats at his left.
“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the creation of the world.
The same way those who are saved also will face the separation, that is, those whose works are burnt and those whose work will pass the fire test.
The world also does the separation as we go on with our endeavour with life.
Our job is to choose the right side and strive for it. For the men of battle are not caught sleeping.
1 Corinthians 9:25
And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they [do it] to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.
We are of the Living God, we will be separated into eternal rest. We will excel in what we do here on earth. We will not be caught napping. We are the blessed. We are on the winning side.
He calls us blessed.
