LOVE WILL BE THE DECIDING FACTOR
Genesis 4:9
And the LORD said unto Cain, Where [is] Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: [Am] I my brother's keeper?
Have you wondered about the summary of the law and the prophets? Jesus was asked what the greatest commandment was, He said:
Matthew 22:36-40
“Teacher, which is the most important commandment in the law of Moses?”
Jesus replied, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’
This is the first and greatest commandment.
A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’
The entire law and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments.”
The deciding factor is LOVE!
Who is love? Love is God.
1 John 4:7-8
Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God.
But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love.
It is this nature of God, that made Him still care for man even when we disobeyed. Even Cain after his atrocity still experienced God's mercy.
Anyone who perishes, perishes of their own accord. For God has expressed His love to all people.
John 3:16
“For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.
1 John 4:9-10
God showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him.
This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.
Knowing this, we have NO excuse NOT to love one another, for love is the evidence that we know God:
1 John 4:11-12
Dear friends, since God loved us that much, we surely ought to love each other.
No one has ever seen God. But if we love each other, God lives in us, and his love is brought to full expression in us.
1 Thessalonians 4:9
But as touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another.
Remember Christ said that the final deciding factor will be love:

Father give us the grace to show forth your character, our nature should be your nature. You are love, may we also be love. Help us Good Lord. All glory, honour and praise be to your name now and forevermore.
We will never let our love go cold.
He calls us blessed.
