HE DECIDES
Genesis 7:1
And the LORD said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation.
Psalm 32:2
Blessed [is] the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit [there is] no guile.
Those who put their trust fully in the Lord may seem to the world foolish at the initial stage, however they could not be wiser.
How foolish the people of that time would have seen Noah, when he said, "thus says the Lord".
For wisdom surpasses the knowledge of things that take place on earth, it reaches up to things that pertain to the soul of man, that is why Jesus said:
Mark 8:36
For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?
Knowing the one who decides on the soul of man is wisdom, yes, wisdom is seeking Him above all else.
Romans 1:28-29
Since they thought it foolish to acknowledge God, he abandoned them to their foolish thinking and let them do things that should never be done.
Their lives became full of every kind of wickedness, sin, greed, hate, envy, murder, quarreling, deception, malicious behavior, and gossip.
James 3:17
But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, [and] easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
Wisdom is seeking Him who has the final say above all else. We preach that believers should not get carried away with the things of this world. We must dwell in the divine.
Our measure should not be man, but the Heavenly Father. For if He approves you, no one can disapprove you. The truth is you can not shine God's light and not be a blessing to the world, for you will provoke God's praises.
Matthew 5:16
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
1 Peter 2:9
But ye [are] a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
Glory to God, our trust is in the One who decides, we would not be disappointed.
He calls us blessed.
