CREATED MAN?
Genesis 1:27
So God created man in his [own] image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
Can we talk of man without being philosophical. We seem to be the centre of all things. The reason why the earth is, the reason why the earth is destroyed, the ones the spiritual powers talk about, the ones who will either replenish the plants or completely annihilate them. The ones that trouble the water, polluting it with what we create or do we say transformed. The list goes on.
Man activities have so much impacted the world for good but regrettably mostly for bad.
It all points to what God created:
Genesis 1:26
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
Man by default was created to have dominion. When we understand this, we begin to see why man mattered. Not that man was all powerful, no, man was supposed to be sustained by staying with his source. The Heavenly Father.
For we know that the fall of man was as a result of disobedience. For man's loyalty was tested!
John 15:5
I am the vine, ye [are] the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
The same way when we are reborn, that is, received salvation, we must proof our loyalty. Will we abide in Him, or like the first fall, seek to be our own authority?
Acts 17:28
For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.
For most people are easily carried away when all seems at peace, wealth abounds and it is all partying and having fun. We must not live a mirage. There is never a time we never need our creator!
Most who talk though, stay complacent or seek pleasure alone, do it because they are yet to face their test. For the battle surely rages. Some have lost theirs and do not know. For many are walking the earth but are merely existing. Fame and popularity in this life, ends here, it has no count for eternal bliss. This is why Christ asked:
Mark 8:37
Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
For many are still groping in the dark, seeking for what is not lost.
Titus 2:11
For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
Every serious believer understands that the whole of scriptures points to the coming of Christ, to restore man to the Heavenly Father.
He said:
John 14:6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
If men do not take the opportunity, and walk in the way of life, what do they gain?
For yes, all seemed lost, however Christ came to restore and make us even better than how we began. However, we must finish well.
Matthew 25:34
Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
Heavenly Father grant us the grace to live the life you want us to live. Let thy Spirit through your word, be our guiding light day after day, help us finish here victoriously and then leave in ripe old age to spend eternity with you. Glory to your name dear Father.
He calls us blessed.
