OUR GOD IS GREAT (Psalm 145)
Psalms 145:3
Great is the Lord! He is most worthy of praise! No one can measure his greatness.
Sometimes people could forget how great our God is, His Mighty power, the wonder of His creation, excellent glory and splendour.
We who know the Lord should keep our mind on Him, remembering His greatness and power.
Psalms 145:5
I will meditate on your majestic, glorious splendor and your wonderful miracles.
We must let the world know, our children, our neighbours, our colleagues and all generations.
Psalms 145:4,6
Let each generation tell its children of your mighty acts; let them proclaim your power.
Your awe-inspiring deeds will be on every tongue; I will proclaim your greatness.
God is great and all His works are great.
He deserves all the praise, He alone is worthy. No one can take His place, no one should receive the glory.
All the Lord has created will give Him praise, nothing and no one will be left out.
Psalms 145:10-12
All of your works will thank you, Lord, and your faithful followers will praise you.
They will speak of the glory of your kingdom; they will give examples of your power.
They will tell about your mighty deeds and about the majesty and glory of your reign.
The Lord does not discriminate, He helps the needy, He is not tied to sentiment. When you call on Him He hears and He answers you. It is as if His joy is birthed in you being filled with joy.
No wonder He paid the price for all, so that we will not be destroyed. That we can enjoy liberty and have the choice to choose life over death which man deserved.
Psalms 145:14-16,18-19
The Lord helps the fallen and lifts those bent beneath their loads.
The eyes of all look to you in hope; you give them their food as they need it.
When you open your hand, you satisfy the hunger and thirst of every living thing.
The Lord is close to all who call on him, yes, to all who call on him in truth.
He grants the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cries for help and rescues them.
Romans 10:13
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Matthew 11:28
Come unto me, all [ye] that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Yes He is the great and loving God.
However those who reject Him and prefer to remain in wickedness, He will destroy.
Psalms 145:20
The Lord protects all those who love him, but he destroys the wicked.
2Thessalonians 2:8
And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
We who are saved will continually praise the Lord, we will exalt His name forever.
Psalms 145:21
I will praise the Lord, and may everyone on earth bless his holy name forever and ever.
Praise ye the Lord.
He calls us blessed.
