GOD CARES FOR US (Psalm 147)

Psalm 147:9
He giveth to the beast his food, [and] to the young ravens which cry.

Yes, God takes care of the animals we see, He cares for the plants that will sprawl up today and die off tomorrow:

Psalm 147:8
Who covereth the heaven with clouds, who prepareth rain for the earth, who maketh grass to grow upon the mountains.

That is how powerful our God is, yes He caters for mere grass.

Thus Jesus, the Messiah, taught us that, if the Heavenly Father cares even for such little things, don't we know that He cares more for us:

Matthew 6:28-30
“And why worry about your clothing? Look at the lilies of the field and how they grow. They don’t work or make their clothing,
yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are.
And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith?

He taught us that it is the unbelievers that worry about these things, we who believe should know that the Heavenly Father knows our needs and will provide them for us.

Matthew 6:31-34
“So don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’
These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs.
Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.
“So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.

Who still preaches this truth? The mad rush for wealth would make some feel that they will loose face. No wonder He taught us that we cannot serve God and mammon. We must know where to draw the line.

Psalm 147:11
The LORD taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.

That is why Christ taught us to seek first the kingdom. Then all other things will be added, not just for your pleasure, but for kingdom purpose.

God cares for us so much this is why He is first interested in our soul before our physical. Selah

Mark 8:36&37
For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?
Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

So the Lord is more interested in your soul than in your earthly pleasures. For once your soul is saved then every other thing can have meaning.

From the fall of man, God's love has been shown, glory to His name.

Our prayer should be:

Thank you Lord for loving me, I will not take it for granted. Praise ye the Lord.

He calls us blessed.

Love

  1. May the spirit that pursues the things of this world depart from us. May that, that is looking forward to inherit the kingdom of God abide with us
