THE FATHER REVEALED (Psalm 119 pt. 10)

Psalm 119:171
My lips shall utter praise, when thou hast taught me thy statutes.

As we conclude this enriched Psalm, we see the passion of the psalmist to know his God.

His desire was to know the Lord, His commandments, yes His statutes. We may not be certain of the author of this Psalm, however elements of its writing points to King David, though researchers have suggested Ezra the scribe and some others Daniel.

However the desire for God’s word was emphasized in all 176 verses. The desire to know God's way and to walk in them.

Glory to God, He has revealed His ways and He did this in Christ Jesus.

John 5:24, 26&27
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;
And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man.

For the whole Torah(of which part is the old testament) from which many religious books are written, proclaim the coming Messiah and the revelation of the Word.

For the whole Torah and scriptures even books written from the Torah which some religions claim that one man got it from God (how will you ignore writings from so many and decide to believe writings from one man with no evidence).

For Christ Jesus said:

John 5:39
Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

All scriptures tell you about Christ Jesus!

Some have claimed to receive messages from heaven apart from Christ. This cannot be true for all things, the Heavenly Father has committed to His Son.

John 5:22-23
For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:
That all [men] should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.

No other revelation comes after Christ, for what ever teaching or religion that contradicts Christ Jesus cannot be true, for the Heavenly Father will not contradict Himself.

Act 4:12
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Thus anyone looking for the Heavenly Father without Christ will not find Him.

Matthew 11:27
All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and [he] to whomsoever the Son will reveal [him].

This is not a fight for a religion, or a fight for relevance (funny enough many religions still try to prove the relevance of their religion using scriptures). No believe can promise what Christ Jesus did, for you have to have it before you can offer it. He had life, so He could offer life.

Some up till today have been deceived that Christ did not die, thus they do not believe in His resurrection, however He prophesied His death and resurrection, even the prophets of old did.

For everything that pertains to God is built on faith, thus man must believe something, the question is will you believe the truth or the imaginations or craft of men? You cannot fight God's battle. Selah

So do we seek to know God more? We actually seek to know Christ more.

John 14:8-9
Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou [then], Shew us the Father?

Glory to God. We enjoy the Father in the Son.

His praise will never leave our mouth. Halleluyah.

He calls us blessed.

Love
