IF YOU OBEY (Psalm 132)

Psalm 132:12
If thy children will keep my covenant and my testimony that I shall teach them, their children shall also sit upon thy throne for evermore.

It is so easy to claim privileges, wanting to partake in the good things. Oh God promised this and that, however are we careful enough to read the "terms and conditions"?

For the same place where the blessings were declared, curses were also revealed.

Deuteronomy 28:1,2&15 (read the whole chapter)

Obedience was the condition of the blessings while disobedience was that of the curses.

Yes in the New Testament we understand that Christ became a curse for all who believe. We must then understand that we by our own foolishness provoke any curse we may encounter. For if grace has been revealed and you decide to still walk in wickedness, then judgement is what awaits such a person.

Read Matthew chapter five(5), it begins with the blessing part. . . Blessed is the. ..
Then when we get to verse 21, He begins to talk of judgment against those who kill, curse etc.

We must understand that what makes us God's children is in our obedience, for disobedience is rebellion.

Look at the Psalm of today, David's generation was promised to rule, however it had the condition of obedience. We read how Rehoboam, grandson of David, forsook the way of the Lord thus loosing ten cities, he could only reign over Judah. Plus persecution from Egypt:

2 Chronicles 12:1-2
And it came to pass, when Rehoboam had established the kingdom, and had strengthened himself, he forsook the law of the LORD, and all Israel with him.
And it came to pass, [that] in the fifth year of king Rehoboam Shishak king of Egypt came up against Jerusalem, because they had transgressed against the LORD,

Are we living in disobedience? It is time to repent.

Have we been living in obedience? We should stay strong and never cease to give thanks. Never believe you are above temptation.

The Lord will strengthen us to live in obedience. All weaknesses He will turn to strength. May all we do please Him. Remember, HE LOVES US SO MUCH!

See, great things are yet coming. This is no time to give up or get tired. We will enjoy fellowship with His Spirit. Halleluyah.

No matter all the noise and confusion in the world, know the Lord yourself. He saved you as a person, He also relates to you as a person.

He calls us blessed.

Love
@the watcher.
