WE LIVE IN OBEDIENCE TO THE GOD OF LOVE (Psalm 111)

Psalm 111:9
He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend [is] his name.

God's love for us has been expressed through the pages of scriptures, in this Psalms the prophesy of His redemption was revealed.

Psalms 111:9 (NLT)
He has paid a full ransom for his people. He has guaranteed his covenant with them forever. What a holy, awe-inspiring name he has!

This is why Christ came.

Luke 24:7
Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.

Yes, what a loving Father. He expects us to live this life in obedience. He has bought us back with the highest price payable, it is thus for us to live in obedience. He has made all things, as we see them we give Him praise. Some things will come to take its place wanting to bring us down, but we will remain faithful to our author yes our redeemer all He has made evident around us reminds us that He is in control.

Psalms 111:1-2
Praise the lord!
I will thank the lord with all my heart as I meet with his godly people.
How amazing are the deeds of the lord!
All who delight in him should ponder them.

Glory to God, He remains faithful, no matter what comes He is in control. He favours His children yes those whose mind is set on Him. No matter the persecution or temptations He brings us out on top. In the end we inherit all, for with Christ we never loose. Halleluyah.

Psalms 111:3-6
Everything he does reveals His glory and majesty. His righteousness never fails.
He causes us to remember his wonderful works. How gracious and merciful is our Lord!
He gives food to those who fear him; He always remembers His covenant.
He has shown His great power to His people by giving them the lands of other nations.

Psalms 111:7-8
All he does is just and good, and all his commandments are trustworthy.
They are forever true, to be obeyed faithfully and with integrity.

That is the evidence of our love for Him. Obedience.

John 14:21.
He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

1John 5:3
For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

Yes they are not. They are all summarised in love. And if we are His, we already have His Spirit. Love is the character of His Spirit.

Thus it is wisdom to walk in obedience.

Psalm 111:10
The fear of the LORD [is] the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do [his commandments]: his praise endureth for ever.

Let us continually think and meditate on this then we will not give room for other choices. Glory to God.

Halleluyah. Help us good Lord.

He calls us blessed.

Love
