TWO SIDES - beware of false christ (Psalm 112)
Psalm 112:1
Praise ye the LORD. Blessed [is] the man [that] feareth the LORD, [that] delighteth greatly in his commandments.
The whole scriptures from the very begining talk of separation it all began with the separation of light from darkness.
Genesis 1:4
And God saw the light, that [it was] good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
Furthermore we had water from land, waters above the earth versus water below the earth.
From the time man fell we had a separation, from the one who did good and the one who chose evil, Abel and Cain. Thus it continued through times, the reign of Israel, the kings, the prophets, till the revelation of Christ when all things were changed.
When Christ lived physically with us most of His parables were about separation. The wheat from the tares, sheep from goats, faithful servant to unfaithful servants etc.
For where you see a fake, there must have been an original.
Matthew 7:15
Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Matthew 24:11
And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
Mark 13:22
For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if [it were] possible, even the elect.
2 Peter 2:1
But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
1John 4:1
Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
Yes, for where there is a counterfeit there must have been an imitation of the original.
It is not strange, even when Christ was on earth some were seen trying to cast out demons in His name and He did not know who they were.
The thing is, the wheat and the tares will grow together till the harvest is done.
We do not just see false manmade religions but even false Christs for many call on the name Jesus, which is actually a Greek derivation of the Messiah's name but they actually serve a false Christ.
2 Corinthians 11:4
For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or [if] ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with [him].
This is why believers must be serious, we must remember:
* we don't run after miracles, we actually do miracles - Mark 16:17-18
* run away from where mammon is served and not the Heavenly Father - Matthew 6:24
* Worship and serve God alone not any man no matter what title they bear - Matthew 23:8-12.
* Don't play with your personal prayers, worship and study of the word of God - 2Timothy 4:2
The separation will take place we must make sure we are chosen as the good seed and not tares.
Psalms 112:4-10
Light shines in the darkness for the godly. They are generous, compassionate, and righteous.
Good comes to those who lend money generously and conduct their business fairly.
Such people will not be overcome by evil. Those who are righteous will be long remembered.
They do not fear bad news; they confidently trust the lord to care for them. They are confident and fearless and can face their foes triumphantly.
They share freely and give generously to those in need. Their good deeds will be remembered forever. They will have influence and honor.
The wicked will see this and be infuriated. They will grind their teeth in anger; they will slink away, their hopes thwarted.
May the Lord select us among the sheep, yes the faithful ones. We will not be deceived by false teachers and acclaimed prophets we know who we are.
1 Peter 2:9
But ye [are] a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
Glory to God, He calls us blessed.
