HE OWNS THE PRAISE (Psalm 103)
Psalm 103:1-2
Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, [bless] his holy name.
Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
When things seem to overwhelm us, when we see a challenge here or there, when we feel we are faced with a battle or depression dares to stare, it is good to sit back and remember what the Lord has done for us.
Psalms 103:3-5
He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases.
He redeems me from death and crowns me with love and tender mercies.
He fills my life with good things. My youth is renewed like the eagle’s!
Sin has been the great setback for man after the fall, in taking this away from us, total liberty was ensured. Why will we, not bless the Lord.
Many still ignorantly, foolishly or by intimidation allow sin to reign over them. So called religious leaders keep them in bondage of their sin, some even make money out of them. Placing themselves as the advocate of their sin. All a gimmick for:
1John 2:12, 1:7
I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name's sake.
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
Why will we not give praise to the one who set us free.
Psalm 103:10-12
He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
For as the heaven is high above the earth, [so] great is his mercy toward them that fear him.
As far as the east is from the west, [so] far hath he removed our transgressions from us.
What mercy, oh what grace, why will our mouth, heart and soul not continually praise Him?
We entered into a Father - son relationship, a bond so great that the enemy can do nothing about it.
Romans 8:35, 38-39
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? [shall] tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
You should leap for joy, unless you are not yet saved. If you are not, what are you waiting for, right now where you are, you can call on the Heavenly Father, and He will set you free. He will let you enjoy the liberty we have in Christ Jesus and allow you enjoy sonship.
John 1:12, 3:7
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, [even] to them that believe on his name:
Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
We must not get carried away for we are nothing without Him. For what exactly is man? We are only relevant with Him:
Psalms 103:15-17
Our days on earth are like grass; like wildflowers, we bloom and die.
The wind blows, and we are gone— as though we had never been here.
But the love of the Lord remains forever with those who fear him.
His salvation extends to the children’s children
Praise the Lord, bless His name. Why will we not seek His attention? At His feet all our worries ends, no matter what it is sickness, disease, sorrow, persecutions, no matter what it is, He takes care of all.
1 Peter 5:7
Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
All beings give Him praise, through all heights and places. His angels continually praise Him. Their ears always attentive to take His instructions. Praise belongs to our Heavenly Father.
Psalms 103:20-22
Praise the lord, you angels, you mighty ones who carry out his plans, listening for each of his commands.
Yes, praise the lord, you armies of angels who serve him and do his will!
Praise the lord, everything he has created, everything in all his kingdom.
Let all that I am praise the lord.
Our voice will be heard in His praise.
PRAISE YE THE LORD.
The Lord's name be praised.
He calls us blessed.
