THE DIVINITY OF THE SON

John 16:28
I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.

There is still remains the argument of some about the divine nature of Christ. Most Jewish scribes and teachers at that time spent most of their time trying to fault Him. The tried all they could to disabuse His divinity. It enraged them, spurred their envy and eventually led to hate.

John 11:47-48
Then gathered the chief priests and the Pharisees a council, and said, What do we? for this man doeth many miracles.
If we let him thus alone, all [men] will believe on him: and the Romans shall come and take away both our place and nation.

The desire of man then and even now has been about power to remain relevant, however what Christ commanded was to leave all and follow:

Luke 9:23
And he said to [them] all, If any [man] will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

The great desire for self righteousness, a desire to proof that they have worked for a salvation have made many reject Christ and His divinity.

Those in this category are also forced to call Paul a liar for if they dared accept His revelations and teachings as true all they hold unto crumbles.

1 Corinthians 1:18
For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

So even the fact that the Heavenly Father Himself declared Him is not enough for them to believe:

Matthew 3:16-17
And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:
And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

The fact that Christ declared that even Abraham rejoiced to see His day enraged the Jews:

John 8:56
Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw [it], and was glad.

He further enraged them by declaring His oneness with the Father, declaring His divinity:

John 8:58-59
Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.
Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.

Today the same err exist, certain have refused to accept the divinity of Christ and thus cannot enjoy the redemption that God gave to man.

John 3:16-18
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Truly not all would be saved, however we go ahead to spread the true gospel and convince many. As many as believe and come to Him will be saved. We continue to intercede for those who prefer human wisdom. Many who have tried to create their own salvation.

Acts 4:12
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

The rejection of Christ would also mean the rejection of the Comforter, the Holy Spirit. For as Christ said He will not speak of Himself but He will declare Christ:

John 16:13-15
Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, [that] shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew [it] unto you.
All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew [it] unto you.

The oneness of the purpose and nature of the Heavenly Father, the Son and the Spirit is undisputed. Man tries to divide but it is a fruitless effort.

For the Son proceeded from the Father and so does the Spirit.

John 8:42, 15:26
Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.
But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, [even] the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:

Glory to God, oh what great thing He has done for us, that we may return to Him.

Rejoice that you know this truth, every glory to the Son is glory to the Father.

Worship Him today praise the Living God for He has done wondrous things for us. Glory to God.

May the revelation of the Heavenly Father, through the only one who could reveal Him continue to enlighten us day after day, drawing us closer and closer to Him. Halleluyah.

Matthew 11:27
All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and [he] to whomsoever the Son will reveal [him].

He calls us blessed.
