GOD'S PLAN FOR YOU IS PROTECTED FROM THE ENEMY
1 Corinthians 2:9
But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
When God was preparing Joseph for leadership in Egypt, the enemies knew nothing about it. What could they see?:
* the dreamer had been thrown into a pit, yes the wild animals will eat him up
* the dreamer has been sold into slavery, to a people who did not value human life, he will work to death in the hands of his slave masters
* the dreamer has been thrown into prison in a foreign land with no hope of contacting his people, yes no hope for him.
This is how the enemies see when the plot and plan for the believers downfall.
However what was Joseph's testimony:
Genesis 50:20
But as for you, ye thought evil against me; [but] God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as [it is] this day, to save much people alive.
He ruled in that same strange land, even his master could not get food without his permission.
Can we talk of Jacob, David, Daniel and other men of old.
What of the Word of God, the Son of the Heavenly Father, the fullness of the Godhead bodily:
1 Corinthians 2:8
Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known [it], they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
That is how God works with us, His glorious plans for us is kept secured from the enemy. All the enemies' battles against us is a waste of time. They only touch the irrelevant. We thus should not give-in or breakdown because of them.
Why? :
Romans 8:28
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to [his] purpose.
Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
So don't stay limp, don't look for sympathy. There is no sentimentality in the spirit. Arise take your stand, let the Lord fight your battle. Stay steadfast, don't mix things up, remain focused. Stay in prayer, worship and study of the word.
Heavenly Father we thank you for we know you have the best plans for us. We trust you more. We ask for grace, wisdom and power to walk steadfast, focused and in faith. Help us continue in prayers, worship and study of your word. You will be glorified in our lives again and again. Thank you dear Lord.
He calls us blessed.
