WE ARE INSTRUMENTS FOR GOD'S PRAISE
Ephesians 1:14
The Spirit is God’s guarantee that he will give us the inheritance he promised and that he has purchased us to be his own people. He did this so we would praise and glorify him.
A man of God illustrated instruments of worship as instruments that respond to breath and touch, that is we make music by either touching them (piano, other string instruments, drums etc) or blowing into them (trumpet, saxophone etc).
When we look at our creation the bible records that God made us the same way:
Genesis 2:7
Then the lord God formed the man from the dust of the ground. He breathed the breath of life into the man’s nostrils, and the man became a living person.
Yes by touch and breath.
What a great illustration of our very purpose.
This purpose was fully revealed in Christ Jesus, who paid the price that we will be God's praise again.
Ephesians 1:5&6
Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
Ephesians 1:14
Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
Glory to God.
The enemy must not steal our praise. Selah
Never cease to give God praise, in all we do, say, think, yes in all things, God must be praised. This is our very essence:
Hebrews 13:15
By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of [our] lips giving thanks to his name.
Remember,
1 Peter 2:9
But ye [are] a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
Yes, we show forth God's praise.
Halleluyah.
He calls us blessed.
