IT MAKES NO SENSE
1 Corinthians 1:18
For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
I listened to an interview where an interviewer was moderating a talk between a christian man and another cleric from another religion. They tried to prove the redemption plan of God as illogical and false.
One thing you will notice about those who try to do this is that they try to discredit Paul's writings.
What they fail to understand is that of all the writings of scriptures, the writings of Paul is still the most clear revelation and interpretation of the earlier writings.
Thank God for such a man that could be preserved for such a purpose. Even Peter the first of Christ had to acknowledge him in His writing.
What seems foolish to them?
The deity of Christ, how could God allow His Son be crucified by mortal man. How can Christ Jesus be God? Yet still be the Heavenly Father above? How can His Spirit be here and yet He God is still in heaven?
With all these doubts, yet they still believe God to be omnipotent, omniscience, omniscient and sovereign.
They do not know God, they have no clue!
I love the way Isaiah puts it:
Isaiah 55:8-9
“My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the lord.
“And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine.
For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.

Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put [him] to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see [his] seed, he shall prolong [his] days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand
Of the increase of [his] government and peace [there shall be] no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.
Let us see what David says in the Psalms:
Psalms 2:10-12
Now then, you kings, act wisely! Be warned, you rulers of the earth!
Serve the lord with reverent fear, and rejoice with trembling.
Submit to God’s royal son, or he will become angry, and you will be destroyed in the midst of all your activities— for his anger flares up in an instant.
But what joy for all who take refuge in him!
The question is why die for those who offended you, why not just forgive them?
They forget that, man gave himself willingly to death by choosing to walk in disobedience.
Genesis 2:16-17(NLT)
But the lord God warned him, “You may freely eat the fruit of every tree in the garden—
except the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. If you eat its fruit, you are sure to die.”
Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin [is] death; but the gift of God [is] eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
We should ask why do they shed the blood of animals asking for forgiveness and seeking for favours. For the blood speaks on behalf of the petitioner.
So God gave the optimum sacrifice that we do not need to sacrifice again, this does not cover but erases sins.
1John 1:7
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
What a sacrifice, what a love.
Yet it will still be foolishness to those who choose to perish, thus they refused to believe.
Whatever it is, we will all come before Him who paid the price.
Hmm, what will they say then?
Revelation 1:7
Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they [also] which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
May the Lord grant grace that those who have not believed may believe.
May we who have believed get stronger and stronger, fulfilling purpose.
Our reward is sure. Glory to the Heavenly Father, glory to the Messiah His Son and we release ourselves to His Holy Spirit. Halleluyah.
He calls us blessed.
